Foxtail Coffee Midtown Atlanta
1230 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA
Crema's Take
“Foxtail Coffee in Midtown Atlanta is an espresso-focused spot where baristas take their single-origin pulls seriously, though consistency can be hit-or-miss depending on what beans are available that day. The space has genuinely great vibes with excellent music and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for settling in with a laptop or meeting a friend, whether you're ordering a carefully crafted matcha latte or a well-balanced oat milk latte alongside a fresh pastry. Fair warning: prices run a bit high for the area, but the quality experience and neighborhood charm keep regulars coming back when the espresso is dialed in.”

Foxtail Coffee is my go-to when it comes to before my days of going to work, or even on the weekends to just have time away from home and enjoy a fresh Matcha Latte or a hot brew alongside a panini or a Gelato. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome with open arms, and the customers are of people with many personalities but often down to earth and inspiring people who inspire me to come to Foxtail more often. This is my favorite coffee shop in Midtown. Highly recommended and also close to the High Museum Of Art.
Foxtail Coffee in Midtown Atlanta is one of those easy go-to spots that just works. I ordered a café latte with oat milk, and it was smooth, well-balanced, and comforting without being heavy. My friend got the iced chai latte, and it was equally good—nicely spiced and not overly sweet. The space feels especially cozy right now with their Christmassy touches, including holiday merchandise that adds a festive vibe without being over the top. I also appreciated that they offer some gluten-free snack options, which is a thoughtful bonus. Overall, Foxtail is a reliable spot for studying or getting work done—good drinks, a comfortable atmosphere, and a calm Midtown energy that makes it easy to settle in for a while.
I really really want to love this place, but every time I try it I’m let down. I live next door so it’s walking distance. Came in the vibe was great, music was great and everything smelled amazing. I went to order and to my surprise no coffee- yes you read that right, no coffee. The cashier suggested I get a cappuccino instead but I stated I just wanted coffee- the barista said the machine wasn’t working or something I’m not sure- the cashier was super nice and appeared to be new, so I get it/ I ended up ordering a mimosa instead. This was the second time I came and wasn’t able to get coffee. Anyway with it being in midtown I was very surprised they also don’t have a non dairy creamer. I would go back, but hope in the future a non dairy creamer could be implemented. Other than that it’s nice
Pretty bummed. I went here for the first time since moving to midtown and was SHOCKED at how expensive it is. I ordered a “regular”, and after a 10% tip it was over $8. I was handed my coffee and was shocked at how light it felt. After walking home and taking the lid off to reheat it, I saw that the cup wasn’t even halfway full, and I hadn’t taken a single sip yet. I understand whipped cream takes up space, but it shouldn’t take up half the cup.
If you get the single origin espresso it normally is good espresso. But they do run out. Their house blend beans is mediocre at best. They charge extra for almond milke even on a Cortado. Better than Starbucks on average. With the right beans close to great
