Cafe Nene

Wow I can’t say enough about how great this cafe is! First of all, I had the best latte of my life. They source their coffee from a local roaster on Oahu and you can taste the difference. They have unique flavors I’ve never seen anywhere else and I want to keep coming back to try all of it. The atmosphere is really cute and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing coffee and matcha! Staff was very friendly and helped us decide what to order. We stopped at Nene Café after doing a tour with EV go tours! Both were amazing and would definitely recommend everyone to check them out!

New coffee shop which opened Feb 2026, offering a small menu of delicious coffee drinks. The cold brew was delicious, and at $5 a bit less than competitors in the area. (It seems like they are in the very early stages and plan to expand.)

I've gotten multiple kinds of coffees/ tea and even tried a matcha from here now and have loved every single one!! All of their ingredients and sourced well and high-quality and the flavor combinations are ones I never even thought to have before but I'm so glad they did! The manager Jeff and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and always make me feel welcome in the space. So glad to have a new fave spot to hang out! The store itself is so cute and perfectly located so I'll definitely be continuing to buy from there! Can't wait for them to add food to the menu!

I have watched Cafe Nene get built next door for what feels like forever! As an avid coffee drinker, I couldn’t wait to see what it was all about and it did not disappoint. The owner and his team put so much thought into every detail of Cafe Nene. The staff was incredibly friendly and will give recommendations upon request. I ordered one of specialty coffees yesterday and an iced latte with oatmilk and maple this morning. Both coffees were some of best cups I have ever had. Smooth, nutty, creamy… just outstanding. If you are visiting Hawaii or live on Oahu, this coffee shop is a MUST. Selfishly, I never want a line outside the shop but these guys deserve it. They are an excellent addition to the neighborhood and I can’t wait to see them grow!!
