Crema's Take
“Tucked away on Sunset Boulevard, this minimalist West Hollywood café has mastered the art of the slow morning with its light-filled, effortlessly aesthetic space that keeps visitors coming back for hours. The team clearly cares deeply about both their craft—visitors rave about excellent coffee that rivals Melbourne standards—and creating a genuinely welcoming neighborhood vibe that feels equally suited for focused work or lingering with friends over their thoughtfully curated menu.”

Lutié Café is such a hidden gem. The space is light, minimal, and effortlessly aesthetic — the kind of place you go for a slow morning that turns into hours. The interiors are clean and calming, with beautiful natural light (perfect for content but still cozy). See a detail preview on my YouTube. The food feels intentional and fresh, and the matcha was genuinely one of the best I’ve had — smooth, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Everything is presented beautifully without feeling overdone. The overall vibe is elevated but relaxed. It’s giving European café energy in Sydney — chic, calm, and curated. Definitely a spot I’d come back to 🤍✨
We were in LA for four days, came to Lutie on day one and loved it so much we returned every morning!! Traveling from Melbourne we needed good coffee and this is excellent! Small, delicious menu with many GF options. Service is warm and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you Lutie
I’m honestly obsessed with this place! It’s my absolute favorite spot in WeHo 🤩 I’m in love with literally everything here — the food, the coffee, and every single person on the team 💔 I eat here almost every day, I know the menu by heart, and I still get excited when they add something new, because I’ve tried everything and would happily order it again and again. I recommend this place to all my friends and clients in the area. Best vibes, best food, best coffee, and the most amazing staff. P.S. Try Halloumi toast 🤌🏻
Lutie is a nice, sunny spot that feels relaxed from the moment you walk in, with plenty of natural light, soft tones, and an easy neighborhood energy. It skews young, but I was more than happy being the nana at this cafe. I had a specialty coffee and it was excellent, clearly well made and thoughtfully done. The treats looked genuinely tempting, especially the pastries in the case, but I didn’t get a chance to try them this time. Definitely worth checking out.
One of my favorite everyday spots on Sunset Blvd! I absolutely love the vibe at Lutie Café, it’s cozy, stylish, and has that perfect bohemian atmosphere. Sometimes I come here just to relax and do my drawings, it’s honestly such a peaceful spot. Their food is super fresh, healthy, and always delicious. They also have great sugar free cookies and cakes (which is a huge plus!) and their drink menu is amazing. My go-to is the lavender coffee, and I’m usually not a matcha fan, but theirs totally changed my mind, the Iced Rose Matcha is a must try! If you’re in the area, this place is perfect for chilling, catching up with friends, or getting a little creative time for yourself.
