Crema's Take

This neighborhood favorite nails the work-from-home setup with plenty of natural light and outlets, making it perfect for solo visitors or small groups looking to settle in for a few hours. Their cold brew is the real draw—smooth, balanced, and distinctly chocolate-forward—while the creative drink menu and fresh bagel selection keep regulars coming back. The vibe is genuinely chill and welcoming, with service that feels both friendly and thoughtful, making it feel less like a transaction and more like your local third place.

The Fix’s cold brew will elevate you. It is everything you expect from a cold brew- smooth, balanced, and chocolate-forward. Kinda sad that I missed out on the blueberry bagel but the everything bagel was good. I would definitely come back.

The atmosphere here is quite pleasant. While I appreciate the coffee, it isn't my absolute favorite. It's a suitable place to get some work done while enjoying a coffee. I found the hummus bagel to be acceptable, and the goat cheese and onion Danish was enjoyable.

The Fix has been my favorite spot in the neighborhood since it took over this space several years ago. The service is always friendly and thorough, and there's a great number of beverage selections. My personal favorite is the peppermint tea -- delicious and strong and thankfully not combined with other flavors and aromas like you find elsewhere. The Fix also often has pastries and wrapped contracted baked goods that fit vegan and vegetarian needs, though these often sell out earlier in the day before I can get there. I usually get my tea and walk through the neighborhood, but the cafe is plenty cozy for lingering. This is such a fantastic neighborhood coffeehouse that adds flavor to EWH.

Conclusion: Pretty Chill little place to come hang out and get some work done. Has lots of natural light. Would recommend smaller groups of 1s or 2s. Would be great for work from home or doing some studying. Would also recommend espresso style drinks, any traditional ones. Interesting note: (Has bar seating present, unlike a lot of coffee shops in Cincinnati.) Check out the full review on our Instagram or TikTok @hunting_coffee

I've visited the old location a few times to plug in for a couple hours and visited this new location once so far. The new location is more spacious, pretty comfy, has plenty of outlets, and was pretty quiet by coffee shop standards. They seem to have the same menu, pastries, and high quality as the old location, so I'll review the two shops as one: Their plain lattes were 8/10 quality for me -- I'd drink one any day. Iced chai was also solid -- decent amount of spice, not super sweet, I'd drink it again. They also have really interesting seasonal drinks, which I imagine are good based on the quality of their basic drinks. It looks like they have a moderately full bar, but that just means I can get an evening cup of coffee! (although the new location isn't open as late as the old location, as of now). They have a good assortment of snacks/pastries, including bagelry bagels, and the coffee cake muffin I had was pretty good. Their breakfast sandwiches had the place smelling really good when I came one morning. This is a lovable shop that I'll happily keep coming back to!
