Honor Market
1255 Coast Village Rd, Santa Barbara, CA
Crema's Take
“Honor Market is a charming Santa Barbara spot where excellent coffee sits alongside genuinely good pizza and a curated selection of wine and gifts, making it feel more like a carefully assembled neighborhood gathering place than a typical café. The fontina and ham pizza earns real praise for its quality crust and thoughtful execution, and the coffee here genuinely stands out as "incredible" according to locals who've discovered it. It's the kind of welcoming market space that rewards a casual walk-in, though service can be a bit uneven depending on when you visit.”

Incredibly disappointing. We ordered the ham and fontina pizza - it's just sliced deli ham on gobs of cheese. We also ordered a salad to share (which we do often at the honor bar restaurant) and it's the smallest salad I've ever seen and it's not even fresh. It looks like someone's left overs. For almost $40 the joke is on me.
Fantastic pizza...possibly some of the best in SB/Montecito We had the fontina and ham and it was amazing. Light, good chew, rich and melty cheese, with an herby sauce (to dip or drizzle), and no greasy heavy/guilty feelings afterwards.
We specifically asked for a cheese pizza for kids, they recommended the crushed tomato pizza. We didn’t realize that pizza has crushed red peppers cooked into it and is pretty spicy so the kids wouldn’t eat it. If you are ordering for picky kids, I would not recommend this place. The adults enjoyed the pizza, but I would rather have had them tell us that they don’t make a pizza appropriate for kids, because we ended up needing to cook a whole second dinner.
Honor pizza!! Walking around found the welcomes sign to discover this little market, that has a very nice selection of pizzas, wine, gifts, books, incredible coffee. Much gratitude, to all of the people that made the experience so memorable.
More employees than customers were present as my family and I stood waiting to order coffee. Person who appeared to be a manager had his clipboard but apparently he doesn’t feel serving customers is his job. Waited about 2-3 minutes making eye contact while they all went on with their chores. So we walked out and had a magnificent coffee and breakfast next door at Jeannine’s door. Moral of the story, just keep on walking for better options.
