Mike & Patty's Breakfast | Bow Market
337 Somerville Ave, Somerville, MA
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Bow Market, this grab-and-go spot delivers gourmet sandwiches and fresh pizza that punch way above their weight, from crispy Philly cheesesteaks to creative combinations like buffalo chicken and pickle pizza. While there's no seating inside, the quality and care in every bite—warm, flavorful, and thoughtfully made—keeps loyal customers coming back for their rotating lineup of must-try creations. Expect to pay around $12 per item, but the consistently excellent execution makes it a standout destination even among Somerville's competitive food scene.”

- Tried Breakfast Grilled Crack and Fancy sandwiches which were amazing and highly recommended; about 12 dollars which is expensive - minimal room inside store and no internal seating; it’s to go only - very nice team there
I have never had a Philly cheesesteak but I’ve been craving what I imagine it to taste like and this really delivered. Love the roll they’re using!
My fav spot in bow market. The pizza is always so fresh and delicious! I got the buffalo chicken this time and it did not dissapoint. My friend got the pickle pizza and it was also 🔥
Absolutely love Mike & Patty’s. They never miss! The new sandwich lineup is phenomenal. We tried the Chicken Parm and Steak & Cheese and split them to get the full experience. THESE ARE MUST HAVES if you go to their Bow street location for lunch. Like the rest of their sandwiches, they bake their own bread fresh and it really makes the difference. Cannot recommend enough!!
I’ve been a longtime customer of Mike & Patty’s and have enjoyed more than a dozen of their sandwiches over the years. The food is typically excellent — warm, flavorful, and thoughtfully made — which is why my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered The McLustin, and unfortunately, it arrived cold and the flavors felt a bit disjointed. I also spent about ten minutes at the counter waiting for milk for my coffee, during which time the sandwich sat untouched and lost any warmth it might’ve had. Overall, both the service and the food quality felt inconsistent compared to my past experiences. My mother’s sandwich was also lukewarm and underwhelming, which reinforced the sense that something was off that day. Perhaps the approaching nor’easter played a role, but the experience didn’t reflect the usual standard I associate with Mike & Patty’s. I’ll absolutely return — I know how good this place can be — but this visit just didn’t live up to their usual quality.
