Crema's Take

Nestled in Taos, Sol Food Cafe strikes that perfect balance between a serious espresso bar and a welcoming neighborhood gathering spot, where the staff remembers your name and the matcha is just as thoughtfully crafted as the Green Chile breakfast burritos. The outdoor patio seating and genuinely kind service create space for lingering over coffee, whether you're fueling up with a full breakfast or savoring a slow afternoon with friends, and they're genuinely accommodating to dietary needs without making it feel like an afterthought.

Wow wow wow this place is so chill and the food was delicious and the staff was so kind and sweet. I got the matcha and the Green Chile breakfast burrito 🌯 dank. I ate it slowly and still forgot to take pictures lol. Go here you won't be disappointed. Light and blessings

Fantastic spot for breakfast, really great coffee. I accidentally left my purse here. I drove all the way to Santa Fe before realizing it. Ruby kept it behind the counter for me and kept everything safe. Highly recommend this little gem. They have a great market as well.

This is such a sweet little spot and my curry wrap was delicious (and also big enough for two meals) 🙏😋 The slightly slow service was not really an issue but I was slightly frustrated by the lack of a clear process for being seated. Waiting 15 mins in line behind people buying pastries only to be told “have a seat and I’ll get to you” seems backwards. Other than that, this place is delightful.

This place is really good! Sandwiches of high quality, great ingredients. Creative menu. Service fast, prices reasonable. I will be back. Nice outdoor patio seating in the shade. Side salads really nice

On vacation to Taos, we went out of our way to get breakfast here because I have dietary restrictions and I read that this restaurant would have plenty options for me. The food was wonderful and the employees were incredibly kind. Our waitress was very nice and even gave us some good tips on places to go on our road trip. I had the most delicious gluten free pancakes and my boyfriend had a yummy omelette. The baked goods available were also incredible. The wait for food was a little longer than normal but we didn’t mind at all.
