This place is the perfect stop for a hikers lunch or coffee to hit the road. They offer a selection of sandwiches and plenty of coffee drink options paired with a local atmosphere as the rest of the building is filled with art and wares from local artists and vendors. A good stop for a souvenir or simply to build community as they often hold events such as the winter market or even craft classes held by artists so make sure to check out their calendar. They have a large side room for dining but they also offer the room available to rent for small events like a shower/party etc. The sycamore tree outside is amazing in the fall, dropping giant leaves over the playground and dining area. I honestly believe they should have built a larger building because it seems to be packed every time I visit. And I love to stop by because the barista is so nice 😄
Stopped by here on the way to the airport and had a nice time. They have some really unique food items here, and what I had was super fresh. I got the Blueberry Grilled Cheese and it was full of flavor, that sweet-savory combo hit just right. It came out quick, and the coffee was spot on, nice and strong. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I loved browsing the shop while waiting for my order. The only issue was parking. The lot was packed, so we had to park on the grass across the street, which wasn't the best. Still, totally worth stopping by if you're around and want something tasty and different.
I come here nearly every week to be greeted with kindness, enjoy delicious food, a calming and peaceful atmosphere, and an amazing experience! Love the employees, and what they do! Thanks so much guys! Also the nature and flowers around are so beautiful!
My husband surprised me with a lunch date here, and it was such a great choice! You can eat inside the bright, welcoming dining area or outside at the picnic tables. There’s even a playset for kids and the Hanging Rock Battlefield Trail nearby. We had the blueberry grilled cheese and the turkey apple cheddar (both on sourdough) with chips and salsa. I got a smoothie, and my husband had an iced coffee. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. They also have a great retail section with locally made goods like cards, art, soaps, and more. Definitely worth a visit to support this wonderful local spot!
Fantastic little store with great food, atmosphere, location, and products. In the picture is a Sausage Egg and Cheese Bagel with Pesto and Mayo. It tastes great, and actually got me to like pesto. The products in the store are all locally made and of high quality. Go on in, get you a sandwich and a coffee, and take a nice stroll down the Battlefield trail, or dine in, and read one of the many books located along the wall. A really relaxing place.
