Charleys Cheesesteaks

Crema's Take
“I need to be honest with you: this isn't a coffee shop. Charleys Cheesesteaks is a fast-casual sandwich spot in San Antonio that happens to serve traditional drinks, and while it checks boxes for being laptop-friendly and quick, the reviews suggest it's solidly middle-of-the-road—decent value at around $8 for a cheesesteak, with fresh bread and speedy service, but nothing that'll make your heart sing about the beverage program. If you're looking for specialty coffee discovery, you'd want to point me toward an actual café instead.”

I had a good experience, i was not in a rush so i had plenty of patience... it took me a while to figure out what i wanted to eat so i camped out near that standing table and looked at the menu at a different place. So i got asked about three times if i were in line for charleys, and i said no. Until the smell of the meat got to me and i was watching the staff work really well together. The line was getting done fast and the food didnt take that long. So i got in line, ordering was efficient, especially with all my modifications. The best part was as soon as i got my hands on my food, someone at a table got up and i got to sit down at it. The timing was immaculate. Strawberry Lemonade was delicious, and i don't even like lemonade. Food was good and my hunger was satisfied for my whole plane trip and more.
They did a good job taking our order and getting the sandwiches to us quickly. This is fast food and they lived up to the expectation. The food was good, we would order from them again.
The picture shows what you will get for a small Philly cheese steak which will cost you a total of $8.11 including tax. Taste: decent. So is it worth the price? My opinion is that it should be $6 total altogether instead of over $8 for a small sandwich like this.
The food taste great. Food is prepared in an area you can see. Food is prepared as you order, so there is an acceptable wait time. Condiment section needs attention, as there were things they either were out, or needed to be refreshed. Presentation of food is also good. Food is fresh and delicious for a fast food restaurant. I had a good experience.
Meh, it's ok I guess. Sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich for $5.49. Bread was warm and fresh. Contents just so-so. No tap water available. Only bottled water and sodas. Service was more than competent. I guess I was just let down because I was trying to find a breakfast taco in terminal B. None to be found here... It was also early, and I have been known to be cranky.
