Caffe Luce

Crema's Take
“Tucson's Caffe Luce is a downtown gem where seasoned baristas craft impressively balanced espresso drinks—like their standout breve lattes and perfectly executed dirty chais—alongside genuinely excellent house-made pastries like their impossibly soft banana vegan loaf. The space strikes that rare balance of being both a serious coffee destination and a welcoming spot for lingering conversations or focused work, with staff who clearly take pride in both their craft and making you feel at home.”

I was surprised the breve latte I ordered was on point. I did it with just a little Irish cream syrup and was great. Barista was a nice guy too. Said he had been in the coffee industry for over 20 years. I would definitely go back when in the area.
Caffe Luce and staff, thank you for the perfect breakfast experience in Tucson! Order: 12oz dirty Maya chai, 8oz white choc/caramel latte, egg/cheese sandwich, the #1 (avo, cucumber, chive, and Welsch cheddar) Partner said it's "one of the best sandwiches I've ever had." Total $33. Atmosphere is comfortably quiet with soft funky music, warm sunlight, and kind staff. Genuinely wonderful experience. Amazing food and vibe.
Great tasting baked goods. Staff is very friendly and gave multiple recommendations. My kids enjoyed it. Very quiet and good for studying or cute coffee date as well.
Total vibes. Café Lucce is one of those downtown spots you wander into once and immediately know you’re coming back. The star of my visit? Their banana vegan loaf — unbelievably soft, perfectly sweet, and honestly worth a return trip all on its own. The whole place has this cozy-chic energy, and their upstairs little cove is the dreamiest hidden nook to sit, sip, and snack. Already planning my next visit.
This is my favorite café spot in all of Tucson❤️. I find myself here at least once a week. My go-to order is the dirty chai, which they always make just perfectly - smooth and balanced. The muffins are really good too! The music is always calm and chill, played at just the right volume, and there’s a gentle breeze from the giant fan ( a nice addition to the AC) that adds to the comfort, a welcome escape from the Tucson heat🌵☀️. On weekdays, there’s usually little to no wait, and even on weekends or in the evenings, the service is very quick. Every barista I’ve met has been very friendly too. Whether you’re working, journaling, catching up with a friend, or just want to people-watch across the street😅, you’ll find the perfect spot to settle in at Caffè Luce. I’m just hoping they start a loyalty program by the time I begin writing my dissertation 🫣.
