Crema's Take

Tucked inside a charming vintage Airstream trailer at Flowerland Nursery, Holy Cow serves up consistently excellent espresso drinks and pour overs at genuinely reasonable prices—a latte that tastes as good as it costs ($4.75 for 12oz). The intimate setup pairs beautifully with flaky almond croissants and the unexpected pleasure of browsing flowering plants and artisanal gifts between sips, making it equally perfect for a quick caffeine run or lingering catch-ups with friends.

My latte was an absolute delight: rich, foamy, and brimming with flavor, the perfect companion for a long catch up with an old friend. And the almond croissant…oh, the almond croissant! Flaky, perfectly sweet, and honestly the best I’ve ever had. Surrounded by greenery and the gentle hum of fellow coffee lovers, it felt like a tiny whimsical escape from the everyday.

Shocked and amazed by this awesome little coffee shop. I discovered my first highwire coffee in oakland. this one operates out of an old airstream trailer co-located with a plant nursery. Not a lot of outdoor seating, but the coffee is great, the pastries are fresh, and the service was reasonably friendly.

Coffee truck nestled at the entrance to the nursery. Great coffee however no lids for the small takeaway cups.

This is the Highwire location to visit for consistently excellent coffee! Nestled within the Flowerland Nursery which offers the opportunity to stroll through plants, flowers, and an artisanal gift shop, friendly baristas poured exceptional quality cappuccinos, cortados, and Americanos at each of our 3 visits. Pro tip: try to get one of the small tables set into the foliage for enjoying your beverages. Patrons - many appear to be regulars - are friendly and engaged in fun conversation while waiting in line. We purchased beans at each of our visits and have greatly enjoyed them at home. Solano Avenue is a delightful location, cleaner than Oakland or Berkeley with better weather and many restaurants to enjoy. This establishment deserves your business as a premier Bay Area destination for fine coffee with Zen-like garden which earns it 5 stars across the board.

I’ve tried their coffee beans years ago and I like them. This is the first time I visited this location and their latte tastes so good! Not even to mention it’s only $4.75 for 12 oz and the perfect latter art!
