Crema's Take

Groundstack is a clean, welcoming Stockton spot where the espresso is genuinely the star—reviewers consistently note you can actually taste the coffee, crafted with nothing but natural flavors and creative signature drinks like the Thornton Thorn and Rosa with honey. The mellow, low-key vibe makes it perfect for lingering with friends or family (they've got games and a free library), while the baristas are knowledgeable and friendly enough to guide you toward hidden gems like their Sunset cold brew.

I enjoyed the Thornton's Thorn coffee with oat milk. The shop smells so good, but was still tolerable for my non-coffee liking father. It is very clean and there are games and a free library to check out. I look forward to trying one of their sandwiches one day.

My wife and I tried this place out! She got a peach tea and I got "Ben's Fave" with a panini and a chocolate croissant. Absolutely great service, very mellow lowkey environment. Definitely will stop by again.

You can definitely taste rhe coffee here no joke. Love how it actually wakes you up. They use nothing but natural flavors. This place is a win win. I got the Rosa coffee with honey for sugar and added lavender 💜 My mom got the chi tea 🍵

I had the Sunset coldbrew recommended by the barista. Dude was really friendly and had a good knowledge of what they offer. It was really an excellent coffee. It’s hard to put into words but it tasted very pure. Coldbrews are made in house. Despite being a coldbrew, it had a nice warmth to the flavor that reminded me of how a coffeeshop typically smells. The chocolate came through nicely without being overwhelming. I substituted oatmilk. I got a large for $7, and it was definitely worth it. Also he informed me that UoP students get a discount here! Plenty of seating, Wifi, and outlets. Check it out! Parking is diagonal street parking by the storefront.
