Mountaineer Roasting Co. Coffee & Bar

This review is specific to ordering coffee online. The shop itself is great and the coffee is always excellent, but there is no urgency whatsoever to ship coffee when orders are placed online. I spent a fortune on ordering coffee from this shop over the past three months and every single time it takes at least a week or more to get a confirmation that it shipped. Which means it’s another week after that until it gets to my house. Also, I only live an hour and a half away. The slow shipping is unacceptable, and I’ve ordered coffee from shops around the country for years. To think the shop closest to my house takes the longest is mind blowing. Again, the coffee is amazing, but I’m strongly considering ordering from elsewhere due to the lack of urgency and ridiculous wait times to get it shipped to my house. Two plus weeks for shipping something an hour and half away in this day and age is absurd.

Intriguing! The coffee, sourced from Colombia and Guatemala, is actually roasted here — you can check out the roasting machines next door! Excellent coffee for a reasonable price. Definitely a stop worth adding to your itinerary!

Don’t let the austere surroundings surprise you. The staff is friendly and helpful. My latte was perfect, and my breakfast sandwich was fresh and arrived as soon as I sat down. Definitely recommend.

Came here for my birthday trip breakfast and it was so good. I had a maple latte it was absolutely perfect. The sandwich was great and very fresh and the fruit salad had all crunchy grapes 5 stars for that alone 😆 all the staff here was so sweet thank you guys 🫶🏻

One of the best gourmet coffee and lunch experiences I’ve had on the East Coast! If you’re passing through Morgantown, West Virginia, it’s definitely worth stopping by to enjoy this coffee shop.
