Cafe Envie & Espresso Bar

Must visit for breakfast. An authentic restaurant with great food and drink options. Service is very fast and atmosphere very cosy. Also, prices are super normal for a decent meal! Highly recommended!

Limited review as we came late before the Jazz Bars open, after our server had serviced the entire city of New Orleans this shift. Casual atmosphere, nice tunes. Interesting sweet case... too bad I don't have room so, no food rating, but it all looks good. A short brace of musicians prepping for the night, a street personality or two hanging around. A few marble 4 tops, long coumter with seating, high ceilings with fans. What is not to like?

This place was a good find for us after walking for about 30 minutes. Their teas and Chicory coffee are very good, we also liked their cheesecake. I love Cafe du monde or Cefe Beignet for their beignets, but we can definitely appreciate a normal cafe where we can sit down for a nice break or reading. Love the outdoor sitting without cars or too many people walking by.

Everything Coffee, Cocktails, Teas and Seasonal Creations. EnVie is a wonderful French style cafe with a drink for every taste. They also have quite an extensive breakfast menu for a café as well as wraps and paninis, etc. A truly great spot in the Quarter.

I did both take out and dine in - in both cases the food was amazing! It’s a good option of you are on the go, but if you have the chance to stay and enjoy the vibe, I highly recommend!
