Dignitary Cafe
4817 S Westshore Blvd, Tampa Bay, FL
Crema's Take
“Dignitary Cafe is a vibrant cultural hub that goes far beyond coffee, serving as a gathering spot for artists, performers, and creatives with an impressive lineup of specialty drinks including matcha, kava, and signature creative beverages. The staff—particularly highlighted regulars like Ian and Keyera—create such genuine, cheerful service that customers drive 30 minutes out of their way and return every other day, making it feel less like a cafe and more like a creative community space. Beyond the exceptional drinks, this Tampa spot doubles as a print shop and hosts open mics, artist events, chess games, and even accommodates podcast recordings, proving it's as much about fostering connection and culture as it is about craft beverages.”

I’ve been here in the past just for the cafe and an Open Mic. It was a great first visit. I recently came across a post for an artist event and drove 30 minutes to get here. As a NY/NJ performer I was looking forward to seeing the local artists/performers at the “What It Takes III” showcase. Like any event I was ready to pay once I arrived. When myself and my partner arrived the man working the door was rude and odd. I am big on energy and he was so weird and uncomfortable. Let’s just say that after this poor interaction we decided to not attend the event and went elsewhere. Hopefully I can catch this showcase in another location.
Great first-time experience here!! 🙌 literally stumbled upon this place tonight while in Tampa and received A+ service 💯 — plus I got to enjoy some delicious tea. I was very impressed 🥥🍵. Can’t wait to come back.
Key was the key to having an amazing time at Dignitary. Super helpful and very cheerful. They have been hit hard with the hurricane, and they are making the best out of the situation. We even had a live brewing of the Kava and a taste test afterward. Great place to hang out, play pool, or just sit and study.
So yeah, this place rocks been in Tampa for about a month came every other day or so Ian rocks, Keyera’s drinks rock and she’s real kindly! Also just to let you know, this is one HELL of a gummy. It knocked the skull out of my head. I don’t remember anything but the sheer terror of being hunted for sport by the night demons. It took me an hour to park. I slept 15 hours, the first of which had me asking myself (out loud) where I was, repeatedly. I quit vaping. I sent an old flame I haven’t thought of in months 15 bucks for “being a good girl”. For context, I sometimes smoke multiple blunts a day and I never felt anything like this from a gummy before. I thought this thing had shrooms in it. I just bought another in case I ever need to get factory reset again
I stopped in to record a podcast and was also able to enjoy som great Kava as well. What a unique spot to enjoy while in Tampa. Great vibes, Great Teas, Matte’s, and Kava. Print shop, multiple chess boards, and a medication area out back for those with their medical 🌱 cards. I will definitely be back!
