Crema's Take
“Dough n Joe is a beloved neighborhood spot where the staff genuinely cares about your visit—they'll take time to guide you through their rotating donut selection and make sure you feel welcome, whether it's your first time or you're a regular. Their French crullers and maple donuts are standouts worth arriving early for, and the whole place has this irresistible aroma of fresh sugar and happiness that keeps people coming back. It's the kind of family-friendly place perfect for a quick morning grab or lingering over coffee and pastries with friends.”

Went in today for 1st time. Lady behind the counter was very attentive and we told her this is our first visit. She went and explained the varieties they had to offer. She was very helpful and even went in to explain the cremes they make in house. We went at 1p they close at 4p so not everything was available. But we were not disappointed. The donuts were very soft and flavors we got tasted amazing. We will be returning again.
Emily is amazing and you better go early if you want donuts. This place smells like sugar and happiness. I like to consider myself a donut connoisseur and I like to find homemade and local and Joes meets the mark. I am hoping to get them to make me a King Cake out of the Big JoeNut and I will post a review. I have to find the other location to see if I can get some hot donuts one day. If you like fresh good donuts then go see Joe.
Looking to find a place that had good donuts and have been trying out several places. Stopped in at Dough n Joe Donuts to check them out. Unfortunately we got there to late to get the full variety but there was enough to try them out. With the help of an amazing lady behind the counter who helped explain the various options we got a dozen of donuts to take home. Going to give you a run down on the tastes of each donut. Glazed donuts were like biting into a cloud. This donut is soft and airy with a touch of sweet as the glaze touches your tongue. You cannot eat just one! Filled donuts. Apple tasted just like fresh cooked apples inside a soft donut shell. Strawberry filling wasn’t strong but the flavor was there almost like a jelly but not as sweet. Peach wasn’t strong at all and could have used a bit more flavor to it. Vanilla cake donut. This had a good vanilla taste to it. Not strong but there. Donut itself was moist not compact like some cake donuts. Looking forward to trying some other flavors. Peanut cream with dusted peanuts on top. Not an overwhelming PB taste nice and creamy. White cream filled donut. This might be my favorite. Again with the soft outside of the donut. The filling is a bit of heaven I believe. It’s not sweet but yet it is. It’s not creamy it’s ethereal. It’s so light and so right. This is beyond my expectations. I will be back for this donut alone. Carmel Apple. Very nice taste that will make you want more. Flavors really stood out. Glazed twist. Just like the glazed donut but with cinnamon. Again a nice flavor that your tongue will love. In the end these donuts are amazing. Light and fluffy not heavy battered or dense tasting. No oily after taste either. They are a great platform for filling. And those that were filled were filled with enough filling to satisfy. They didn’t skimp on it. Understand I take my donuts seriously. My mom made them when I was little. I grew up working bakery’s and food service with donuts. I don’t eat them all the time but when I do I want them to taste good. One is the perfect size to make a day better. And I can’t believe that I’ve never tasted donuts this good in my 54 years of eating them. I have found my new obsession in donuts. Well done Dough n Joe!
Delicious and fresh! Their french crullers are to die for (please make more so you don't run out early in the day like everyone else). I got a sampling of 6 different kinds and shared a couple with family (they said they were really good). Their plain glazed donuts are pretty mid level, still soft and fresh but considering the price I'd go for something more fun! Price is definitely on the high end for donuts in the area but again, they make some really fantastic speciality flavors and I'd honestly eat an entire box of the crullers if I could. I did not try their cake donut, I let my brother and father share it, but they said it was yummy too. The filled donuts are FILLED! They don't skimp at all, you're gonna have filling in every bite. Worth the money in my opinion, as they are so fresh and flavorful that you don't regret buying like you do at dunkin.
went for my birthday! staff were very friendly! it was my first time there and they gave me plenty of time to look around. donuts were amazing (we tried 6 different ones). maple was my favorite, so delicious! will definitely be back! :)
