Italian Bar
5008 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC
Crema's Take
“Italian Bar is a genuine neighborhood gem in Washington, DC that nails the Italian coffeehouse experience with serious espresso credentials and an atmosphere that feels like stepping into Rome. Whether you're ordering a perfectly executed Americano at the counter or settling in with one of their creative specialty drinks, the quality is unmistakable—reviewers consistently praise their espresso as some of the best in the city, and the Lavazza beans they use are taken seriously. Beyond coffee, it's a place that does everything well: excellent pastries, light food, summer gelato, and the kind of warm, unhurried vibe that makes it equally perfect for a quick morning ritual or lingering over an afternoon coffee with friends.”

Best coffee and pastries in the area! Great quality, an amazing atmosphere, and always a pleasure to stop by. The gelato in the summer is fantastic too. Truly my favorite neighborhood spot.
