The Coffee Shoppe At Champions Centre

Crema's Take
“I appreciate you sharing this, but I need to let you know that the reviews you've provided appear to be from Champions Centre as a church rather than from The Coffee Shoppe At Champions Centre as a coffee shop. The Google rating and reviews are about the religious organization, not the café itself. To write an authentic Crema summary, I'd need actual coffee shop reviews that describe things like the quality of the espresso, unique drinks, pastries, barista expertise, or the specific café atmosphere. Could you provide reviews that specifically mention the coffee experience at this location?”

I visited Champions Centre recently and had a really nice experience. It’s a Christ-centered church with a welcoming community and services focused on encouraging people to grow in their faith and move life forward. When I was there, the atmosphere felt warm and friendly — people genuinely greeted each other and made newcomers feel comfortable. The teaching was clear and uplifting, and I liked the mix of praise and worship they had during the service. Even if you’re new to church or just exploring your faith, it feels like a place where you can belong and meet encouraging people. Overall, a very positive visit and I’d recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a community like that!!!
Love this church and if you love worship music, you'll love the music too. They invest a lot of time and resources into the youth and kids programs at Champion. I don't have kids but it sure makes me happy to see the work they are doing to support the youth in such a big way. They remodeled the entire kids area and it's so amazing. I've been in there and the youth are so happy and feel at home. During the church service in the sanctuary I have enjoyed every single sermon and message. Every person I've met has been warm and welcoming, from the staff and volunteers to the congregation. Twice I've attended by myself and chose to sit next to another woman who was there by themselves too and both times I've had great conversations with the ladies and really connected. The baptism services are amazing to experience if you get a chance. And when the worship music starts, look in the front left section of the church were all the teens sit together and when the music starts....they are on their feet dancing and worshiping as a whole group. It's so awesome to see! ❤️
Had a fantastic celebration to remember him daytime Mass! Was surrounded with my family and friends. Plenty of parking and had child care but my son wasn't having it fell asleep on momma during the services. Looking forward to visiting again.
My first day here when I walked in I felt the Holy Spirit hit me like a train and I felt welcome but everyone there when I walked in the door. And that very same day I decided that I was going to get baptized. I felt so lost for so long and when I walked in these doors I felt the love of God and Jesus and I felt the love of the people here. I love the environment here and pastor Kevin is amazing. They put people in the truth of the Bible here first. I'm grateful to call this place home, I'm grateful to God that I found this place and to have found a congregation of loving people. The day I got baptized in July I felt the Holy Spirit within me. God bless Champions Centre
I thought that Champion Center WAS going to be our families church home, in the past several months we got planted and our kids were on board, and becoming involved. I was a little uncertain with no Bibles, no traditional sermons, or verses or events, other than than the offering and no cross except a Easter and a lot of theatrics. But the message was uplifting and I felt like it aligned with our family values, engaged our kids in thoughtful conversations, it was close to home and casual, the youth group was active at the main location, they bus in kids from around the Sound.....they do push tithing a bit excessively, but they do have a big production and events for all ages and families. But it seems a little much and like a broken record for new visitors coming a few weeks in a row. Unfortunately ,things changed after CKs assassination. I listened to other sermons nearby to see how other churches Evangelical and secular/ Protestant handled it and today Pastor K sealed the deal for me when he continues to reference CK. and his message about occupy the land... seemed like the hidden agenda about siding with Israel, which I can't condone killing innocent like the Bible says over occupying land!!!! The church said it will help us vote with information provided in the back. Ok it's one thing if I ask for guidance or scripture on how to vote but the message today was about one mind, a like mind and It's not for me. Keep church and state separate especially in this corrupt World right now, some of the people running for office attend this church....I just need to hear a good message about Jesus, someone that brought hope in dark times. It's ok to comfort those struggling with the world and politics with our picking a side or being specific to one cause, it's clear that this church is not open minded for all, the talked about Transgender people last week. This is so dumb, wrong 1% to o be worried about. I mean babies are born with extra Chromosomes at times, which often leads them as adults to have to choose a gender, let's educate not scare people like it's a disease, where is the compassion. Imagine dedicating your child and then hearing that meaage and finding out the are XXY. Also I like PK messages typically and I am glad you have a book and podcast to help guide others but don't use church time as your plug, reference your podcast maybe and move on, this is starting to feel like an infomercial. I am sorry I know you don't want us to talk bad about the church but sometimes it's important.to be clear about the agenda and mission, a little reflection is helpful. I wish I had done my homework better. I looked back at the sermons from around the time of the 2016 and 2024-5 elections and now I see a clearer picture of what I was missing before. I know this is a lot and maybe the church will consider this going forward, I mean it is WA State. But let's not confuse the Bible and the life of Jesus with comraderies with baised undertones....love for all people even if they don't look or think like us is what I am looking for! I am not looking for a Christian Nationalist Church with a political agenda. I am looking for a Bible church. Also, I am sad for the Murder of CK but just like school shootings, we have heavy hearts about our world we are in and we want it to make sense, why did he (CK) pick this one person to politicize? I want to come to church to wash away my fears and feel renewed, not annoyed in the message going on week 3 or 4 now. I kept coming and the message got stronger that this is not my church home. I hope if you are looking.for a church home you find a good fit. Looking through some of these reviews might have helped me when I was deciding where to worship.
