Crema's Take

Smiling Hill Farm is a working dairy farm turned community gathering spot where you can sip traditional coffee and fresh milk while wandering through a petting area filled with goats, sheep, and other farm animals. The café offers light food and outdoor seating nestled right on the property, making it as much about the pastoral experience and family adventure as it is about the coffee itself. Locals return generation after generation, drawn to the genuine warmth of a place where you can genuinely connect with animals and each other in a real, unpretentious setting.

I love Smiling Hill Farm! I've visited several times in the past few months to get their milk and ice cream and it's always been so good. Their chocolate milk tastes exactly like melted ice cream. Their lunch menu is also pretty good and affordable. Hope they bring back the blueberry milk in store. Also, the milk-a-cow day was so fun and free!

Such a fun afternoon! We visited with the turkeys, pigs, donkeys, emus and of course the goats. The petting area was the best- the goats were adorable. Had a quick lunch on the cafe, did some shopping and had ice cream

I've been coming to Smiling Hill Farm since I was little, and my daughter loves it just as much as I do. The best part is being able to go into the area with the goats and sheep, I could spend all day with them- they're so sweet! The ice cream is great and you can have a birthday party there! We come every year when we visit Maine ❤️

We have brought our daughter here several times and have always had a nice time. They have a variety of animals that you can see and feed. The goats and sheep are a big hit to be able to pet. As a treat once you are done, delicious ice cream! And blueberry milk is amazing!

Today my sisters and I visited the farm for the very first time. We had a baby goat snuggle appointment right when we got there and then into the barnyard we went! We had a great time and ended our day with some amazing ice cream, blueberry milk and some homemade sisters soap to take home! The staff was very friendly, and overall we had the BEST time, we will for sure be back with more guests! 🩷 10/10 recommend the baby goat snugs 10/10 recommend the farm 10/10 recommend the ice cream 😋
