Crema's Take

Garcias Country Kitchen is a refreshed revival of a beloved neighborhood institution, now housed in a larger, brighter space that captures the nostalgic charm of classic breakfast culture with an open, airy layout perfect for lingering conversations. While the kitchen has inconsistent moments, the genuinely warm staff and lively atmosphere of clattering plates and friendly chatter make it a gathering spot worth returning to, especially if you're seeking that unhurried, communal breakfast experience rather than precision cooking.

The staff is nice, the place was new, open and airy, but the food was flat out inedible. Crepes were thick and orange (?) and had a weird unknown flavor. Biscuits were hard and stale. Ordered the chilaquiles as a replacement just to have them serve me raw eggs and drown the entire plate in the sauce so much so that the eggs and hash browns were floating. Paid a bunch to not even eat breakfast. Just outrageous. The kitchen needs to do better because it made your kind servers look bad. Will not be back.

It was nothing like southern kitchen. Garcia's the food was ok . I had always been used to sharing my plate with someone when I ordered from southern kitchen cause it was always a lot. But here at Garcia's you get that average plate you're lucky if you can share it . It is possible if the person your sharing with isn't that hungry. Now that waitress we had was always coming to the table seeing if we were done. I found that to be rude. It made me feel like she wanted us to hurry up and eat and leave her her tip or she thought we were going to dine and dash. I didn't like the service. The place only had like maybe 3 other people there so it was pretty much empty.

Garcia's Country Kitchen has revived my memories, of enjoying breakfast in this building. The food and service is why I keep coming back. I love to hear the hustle and bustle and layout is wonderful. Congratulations on the big move and cheers to new beginnings. The waiters always refill my coffee and make sure I have what I need. It's always hard to decide if I go biscuits and gravy, french toast or chilaquiles.... I can never go wrong.

Garcia's country kitchen formerly Southern kitchen has moved to a larger update location just down the street. The staff was friendly Jesus was awesome service was amazing food came out quick it was hot and delicious. The bacon was crisp the eggs scrambled perfectly the hash browns were crisp yet soft the country potatoes were seasoned and cooked just right. The waffles and pancakes were both equally fluffy and delicious. This is the perfect little mom and pop spot to come for a delicious breakfast brunch or lunch with the family and friends.

6.7/10 Denver Omelet $20 Honestly the omelet is below average at best. Pretty sure they threw velveeta cheese on top which doesn't add anything to the food at all and makes it worse because it's low quality cheese. The potatoes were bland as well Makes me not really want to try anything else. No effort into expensive food For the price of the food the food is mediocre. You'd be better off going out of your way and waiting for Bills or something because Bills CLEARS this restaurant
