Crema's Take

Tucked into Omaha's Dundee neighborhood, this espresso-focused spot charms with its cluttered-cool aesthetic and genuinely knowledgeable baristas who'll guide you through bean selections or craft a perfectly pulled cappuccino for under four dollars. Beyond the stellar coffee, they've built something rare: a true community hub where regulars feel known and even walk-ins find themselves welcomed into the fold, whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or settling in with a warming ginger-lemon tonic and your laptop for hours.

Narrow and unique coffee shop in the Dundee area of Omaha. Cluttered and cool. I had the warming tonic tea (ginger, lemon & magic?) - great! Companion had drip coffee - definitely good.

Honestly, I don’t understand some of the flack this coffee shop receives. I’ll start by saying the coffee is absolutely amazing. I came here everyday for 6 days straight as I stayed in an Airbnb down the street. I’m from LA, and have been to multiple coffee shops with the same presence as Blue Line Coffee and they make GREAT COFFEE. My girlfriend and I had on our first visit the Banana Cinnamon Iced Italian Soda, along with a spiced seasonal coffee blend. Their espresso is amazing, and I enjoyed an Abi Spiced Espresso Nog (could be getting the naming wrong in this one). Overall pleased with the drink options. The atmosphere of the shop is busy, and there was never a dull moment but what can you say the space is home and hella locals stop in and linger doing their day long work so it’s crowded in moments but people are friendly enough to offer space to others. It reminded me of coffee shops in likeness to some of my favorite places in Milwaukee, spots along Mississippi Ave in Portland, and Aurora Coffee in Atlanta.. to be honest it’s just cluttered with love and the community makes the space what it is. The baristas and staff are very friendly lively and lovely to speak with. Everyone was patient and the loose dogs wandering in moments was an extra +++++ Would highly recommend. Grab a seasonal item they put in a lot of thought in their drinks you can tell. Going back for the apple sauce donut! 🤗

This was our first visit. Everyone behind the counter was awesome. They helped us with the coffee bean selection as we were getting a gift for my wife. I'm not a coffee drinker and has the slightest clue how it all worked. It's a chill spot where students were getting school work done and others were reading or on their computers.

When I arrived the line was out the door So I knew there was something special about this place. The Baristas we're working as quickly as they could, making sure every customer was taken care of and each order was made with love. Blue Line is a feel good friendly neighborhood place. Coffee and pastries were excellent! Customer service was exceptional!

Got an 8 oz cappuccino to go and it was less than $4, and super strong, which I absolutely love. This is definitely a community-centered coffee shop and the baristas seem to know many of the customers by name (and by order). Definitely a must-visit if you're in the Dundee neighborhood. 💙
