Urban Abbey

Crema's Take
“Urban Abbey is an Omaha institution where espresso excellence meets genuine human connection, with a signature drink called Smashing the Patriarchy that's so good it brings regulars back daily. Beyond the meticulously crafted lattes, what really sets this place apart is the thoughtful marriage of specialty coffee culture with a curated book selection and a staff that actually remembers your name and order, making it feel less like a transaction and more like visiting friends who happen to make incredible coffee. It's the rare coffee shop where you can settle in for hours of work or study and feel genuinely welcomed rather than tolerated.”

This was my first time at Urban Abbey and I was so pleasantly surprised by how amazing their lattes are! The quality of the espresso was apparent on first sip. Wonderfully welcoming too 🩷 thank you for a delicious drink and experience!
My favorite coffee shop! The drink options are amazing (my personal favorite is the smashing the patriarchy latte), and the staff is the best! They always remember us and our orders, and overall they create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect place to study and I always look forward to coming here.
Urban Abbey is my go to place! I come here all the time to study. The staff is amazing and super friendly! Best coffee Ive ever had, I always get the smashing the patriarchy latte. The atmosphere is also amazing of course! I wish I could give this place more than five stars, if you haven't gone here, you need to check it out!
The Abbey is my go to place to get great coffee and a little work done while perusing the vast book selection you cant find anywhere else. The staff are warm and kind, willing to help you find the perfect book or drink! GO HERE!
Super friendly service and one of the best ambiences as far as coffee shops go! If you need a cozy, warm, and friendly atmosphere to enjoy your coffee, study, do work, or simply enjoy the passerby in an urban area sitting from the plentiful indoor seating looking through grand floor-to-ceiling windows, this is your spot. As far as the coffee goes, I wouldn't say it is world class, but it is certainly good. Refills are only $1 but I noticed I was charged full-price twice. Would I come her again? Absolutely I would!
