Crema's Take

This Atwater gem roasts its own organic beans and pulls some of the finest espresso in LA, with a warm neighborhood vibe that keeps locals coming back. Beyond the perfectly executed coffee, you'll find creative specialty drinks like lavender lattes and surprising pastries like quiche Lorraine, all at prices that feel genuinely fair. It's the kind of place where the staff knows your name and the aesthetics are almost as satisfying as what's in your cup.

Organic coffee is hard to come by, but perfectly executed organic coffee is even harder! Cafecito is the best coffee in LA! And the staff and incredibly kind and warm. It’s a neighborhood feel and my go to coffee shop.

I love the espresso here and the quiche Lorraine is out of this world. The environment is beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. The prices are so fair and reasonable it’s refreshing, and to be honest I feel like you are getting a lot more than you pay for. The staff is always super friendly, approachable, and helpful. They really embody what a local cafe should be.

Out of the three coffee shops in Atwater Village town center, Cafecito Organico is my favorite. Better coffee, better service. Not only because it roasts its own beans, but also because it makes and presents coffee in a more serious way. I usually finish my Wednesday runs at Atwater Bridge so coming to Cafecito Organico becomes sort of a routine. I would get a cortado, have a chat with Summer, one of the baristas there, then stretch my legs in their tiny sunny curbside seating area. Despite the slightly inconvenient location, this walk-up window gets a constant flow of customers, which is a good sign. Cafecito Organico has the independent, almost obscure coffee shop vibe that I like. It might be a personal thing, drinking coffee here makes me feel like a local.
