Aroma Barista Bar
300 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside the Ahern Hotel, this espresso-focused spot crafts specialty lattes that genuinely rival what you'd find in dedicated coffee cities, earning raves as "the best coffee" from visitors who make it a daily pilgrimage despite the off-strip location. The freshly baked pastries are made in-house daily, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere makes it feel more like a local third-place than a hotel coffee bar. Skip the generic Starbucks clones and take the sky bridge up—this hidden gem is absolutely worth the detour.”

Amazing coffee shop connected to the Ahern hotel in Las Vegas. Great coffee and wonderful pastries and food. My favorite coffee shop next to one of my fave places to stay? You should work it into your itinerary!
In October last year, my boyfriend and I stayed at the Ahearn hotel for a week and of course we had to try the coffee at Aroma. Needless to say it was amazing and the best coffee I have ever had. Trust me I’m a coffee person and it was amazing. So much so that we for sure had it twice a day. Recently we came to Las Vegas for a two days and already I knew were we would stay and where I would get my coffee!! 100% recommend giving it a try!!
Unfortunately, a "private event" had the ground floor doors locked. Enter the Hotel side, up to the 2nd floor, and the sky bridge brings you past incredibly well designed and kept restrooms to an atrium with shops, motorcycles and espresso. La Marzocco machine. Decent indoor seating area, two and four tops. It seems funny to me, but there is a comedy & magic club nearby. Good coffee. Nice people, the only thing not to like is a quarter block extra walking if there is a gun show on the ground floor.
The specialty lattes are so much better than the generic hotel Starbucks that litter the strip. The staff are very friendly and the vibe relaxed. Slightly out of the way, but worth it if you're on the north end of the strip. The 4x shot iced mocha latte had a good kick and flavour profile to jump start the day. The counter food is fresh and so tasty. There are a few cool motorbikes on the same level to look at while you're there. A few classic cars at the entry to the ground floor lobby.
We were in Las Vegas on a trip, and we came to this bakery all three mornings we were there, despite it not even being located in our hotel. The pastries are divine, made fresh every morning on site. We got a fruit tart, a veggie empanada, a raspberry croissant, a plain croissant, a chocolate almond croissant (can you tell we liked the croissants?), a pumpkin muffin, a pistachio twist, and a brioche bun with fruit and nuts. We also got a smoothie which was pretty expensive for the size. Overall a great place, would recommend!
