Aperitivo
5530 Spine Rd, Boulder, CO
Crema's Take
“This Boulder spot opens late and doubles as both a coffee destination and a full restaurant, making it ideal for lingering over thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks like their standout blood orange sangria or a leisurely breakfast. The kitchen clearly takes care with every plate—from carrot cake that lives up to its reputation to creative options like pesto risotto—though you'll want to know the open kitchen setup means cooking aromas tend to linger. It's become a genuine neighborhood gathering place where friendly service and beautiful details (like the plant-filled entrance) create an inviting atmosphere perfect for meeting friends or settling in for a slow afternoon.”

Aperitivo has quickly become our new neighborhood favorite. Their blood orange sangria is absolutely fantastic, and honestly every cocktail we’ve tried from the menu has been just as thoughtfully crafted. The entrées strike that perfect balance of being both healthy and satisfying, which I always appreciate when dining out. I was especially excited to see pan-seared mahi mahi on the menu it’s not something you come across often, and they do it beautifully. And if you’re debating dessert, don’t. The cookie skillet topped with gelato is a must-try and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
Although the food and service were good, the dining experience was dampened by poor ventilation. Due to the open kitchen, the smell of cooking lingered on our clothes long after we left.
I’ve never been disappointed by a meal at Aperitivo. I recently tried the Chicken and Avacado Pita Wrap which was delicious and I absolutely love their Pesto Risotto. Also the carrot cake is to die for! The owner, Joe and his team are amazing and always provide exceptional service.
Waiter Abhilash was so friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. I highly recommended for garlic fries. The plants decoration at the entrance was beautiful. The atmosphere was so positive.
Had a super incredible early dinner before Ironman Boulder. It was so fabulous. The crispy ravioli app was scrumptious. The pesto penne with chicken was seriously good. The stars of the evening were the risotto with mushrooms (many kinds of fungi) and a side of perfectly seared salmon, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The staff was attentive and accommodating.
