Crema's Take

Rise & Shine's commitment to 100% certified organic coffee and food means you're getting genuinely thoughtful sourcing in a town where that's genuinely rare, paired with baristas who actually seem to care about your experience. The vibe is pure slow-coffee sanctuary—smooth jazz, plants everywhere, and enough peace and quiet to actually get work done without the pretension that often comes with that territory. The food is legitimately excellent too, with sandwiches like the Grill2 See You that people will tell you about unprompted.

What to expect

Espresso-focused. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu. Wifi.

Great sandwiches. Great service with smiles. The pita-Parker is huge! And the Grill2 see you sandwich is warm and toasty with creamy pesto. :p

My wife wanted to try this place out. She ordered a triple cheese grilled cheese sandwich. Took over half an hour, with the worker saying he had to do it 3 times because he wanted to make it right. It looks and tasted like a Kraft single cheese, not 3 as advertised and not…
