Caffè d’Amore

Crema's Take
“Tucked at the end of Lawrenceville, this cozy neighborhood gem pairs thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks with an unexpectedly excellent house-made lox that rivals dedicated bagel shops. The walls burst with local art and colorful displays, while the staff radiates genuine warmth and creativity, making it feel less like a caffeine pit stop and more like visiting friends who happen to make excellent dirty chai lattes and specialty drinks. It's the kind of place where you might grab a quick coffee one day and linger over a full breakfast the next, especially if you're splitting a bagel from their neighbors at Piebird.”

Everything was amazing. Everyone was wonderful. I had a hot chai latte and my daughter has a cold coffee drink. I had a plain bagel (baked by Piebird next door) with cream cheese and lox with dill. Amazing! Great salmon, fresh dill, really fresh bagel. I also took home some of their in house made strawberry jam which we opened today and that was also out of this world amazing! We will definitely be back.
Friendly, cozy, creative shop with great coffee. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and they always have something colorful to look at on the walls or shelves. They are also really invested in the overall health of the surrounding community, supporting other local businesses, fighting for the little guy, creating a sense of safety and belonging, and sourcing from vendors who similarly care about community and the environment. It's a must stop if in the Lawrenceville area.
I tried this place around 8 or 9 years ago and liked it. So when I was in the area I decided to stop again. My dirty chai latte did not taste like it had any espresso in it and it was also not sweet and I had to add a lot of sugar to it, which I usually don't have to add any. My sausage gravy and biscuits was unlike any sausage gravy I've had from anywhere else (very spicy) and I couldn't even eat half of it as it wasn't very good. The people aren't very friendly, whether workers or customers and will not be back.
Great little shop at the end of Lawrenceville that’s got some good drinks and food. I love their house made lox, it’s honestly one of the better ones I’ve had compared to other shops. However, it is a bit pricey and they seem to be out of items most times I go in, that’s probably more on me but I try to go as early as I can. Otherwise I love the vibe of the place and service is great and will probably continue to come here!
1 star for the flavor of the espresso macchiato. Five stars for Service and a smile, but since this is a coffee shop that equals two stars. They have free Internet here and a nice space for sitting. The Customer Service was absolutely amazing. They do have free Internet here, unlike another local Coffee shop on the street. Too much sugar in their cookies.
