Eggcellent Café is a fantastic spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the overall experience even better. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it really shows in both the service and the food. My only small suggestion would be to make sure the tables are properly leveled, as some of them wobble while you’re eating. It’s a minor fix that would make the dining experience even more comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend Eggcellent Café and will definitely be coming back.

A lovely place to go for breakfast in Philly. The eggceptional had a delicious spicy sausage patty with a perfectly cooked egg inside. The pancakes were sweet and fluffy, and I would recommend getting some on the side. Service in the cafe was good and quick with the food coming not long after we ordered.

The place was so magically delicious we had to stop there twice. My husband and I visited on Valentine's Day and had a memorable experience. The wait staff was so welcoming and friendly, even through is was a full house, we were still catered to and did not feel rushed at all. I ordered a breakfast burrito and did not get to finish it because I was so full. My husband got the French toast with berries and feel in love. I also got a side a yummy turkey bacon and the brown sugar latte. It’s walking distance and right near Penn’s landing so there’s plenty to do.

Food was very good. It was very busy on a Sunday, as one would expect. Waited about 15 minutes. The wait staff is stretched a bit thin but they are very nice and the food came out quick. A unique menu. Great fried chicken and home fries.

Ive been wanting to do brunch here in a while and It was so worth it. So far one of my fave places for brunch in philly.Lots of food options, different lattes and smoothies. We had the lox with salad, a vegetarian dish, and the tacos dish with meat was amazing, so flavorful. The coffee was good as well. It is a cozy and tiny place but great atmosphere.
