MYM Tea & Coffee
4688 Convoy St, San Diego, CA
Crema's Take
“MYM Tea & Coffee shines brightest with their Southeast Asian-inspired drinks, particularly their Saigon iced coffee (a spot-on recreation of Hanoi cafe culture) and customizable creations like the coconut coffee slush that balance rich, bold flavors with creamy sweetness. While their matcha and fruit-based drinks can be hit-or-miss for the price point, the cozy vibe and willingness to adjust sweetness levels make it a solid spot to linger with friends over bubble tea and specialty beverages. Come for the authentic Vietnamese coffee experience and creative fruit drinks; the consistency varies, but when they nail it, it's worth the visit.”

Solid BBT spot! The watermelon and lemon yakult were really good. Cute place to sit and hang out.
Drinks are subpar for the price ($7-8+ for a drink!!). I got the matcha brulee frappucino and it was honestly kind of gross. Very grainy and bitter with chunks of cheese(??) or something for the “brulee” I guess. I got reduced sugar which maybe was a mistake. Couldn’t taste any coffee in it. My sister got the Thai tea and it was way too sweet, very odd ratio. My other sister got the brown sugar latte and they forgot the coffee lol. The place itself is cute but tiny.
I tried the coconut coffee slush and asked for it to be less sweet, and it came out perfect. It was super rich, creamy, and had a strong coconut-coffee flavor that tasted amazing. Honestly, way better than I expected one of the best coconut coffee drinks I’ve had. The only downside is that parking can be pretty hard to find in the area, so keep that in mind. But, I’d definitely recommend it!
I got the iced house coffee (Saigon coffee) and it tasted the same as the coffee they serve in cafes in Hanoi. There's enough condensed milk to sweeten it but you still taste the really strong coffee taste. The brown sugar milk tea boba was also good. The boba pearls are very soft. Place is clean and cozy. Server was very nice.
Tried the Mango Pomelo Sago at MYM Convoy today and found it just… average. The flavor lacked depth and brightness—expected more vibrant mango and balanced sweetness. Texture was okay, but nothing memorable. Disappointing for a classic drink. Service was quick, though. Might stick to their tea-based options next time.
