Fivetown Grocery

We were staying at The Meritage Hotel & Spa and Five Town Grocery is super convenient. We grabbed to go coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the mornings, and it was also perfect for restocking water and other much needed snacks. The store has pretty much everything you might need. The best part was the service the sweetest woman made my coffee, and she was so kind. They also have seating if you want to stay and enjoy it there, plus a good overall selection. Nice ambiance overall.

Poorest excuse for a grocery store I've seen. No dairy, such as plain yogurt, kefir or cream, no eggs. Over priced boring cheese selection, no produce, etc. To top it off, they wouldn't sell me a baget at 9 : 30 am because the deli was closed. It's not a grocery store, it's a wine and gift shop with a small selection of prepared food.

We just left there and am completely disappointed in the sandwiches. I paid almost $70 for 3 sandwiches, a tuna on croissant, a Mediterranean (vegetarian), and a grilled cheese. The croissant on the tuna and bread on Mediterranean was totally stale. The young adults behind the counter were extremely slow and we waited over 20 min for 3 sandwiches. Not too happy with this experience!

I got a very nice sandwich and bottle of soda. Might be the nicest $16 sandwich I’ve ever had, because that’s way too much to charge for a sandwich. However, based on the resort location I was expecting to pay way too much. As long as you don’t mind paying their price, very good choice for an easy meal.

Takes 20 minutes to get a charcuterie. Good selection, but really need to speed things up. Maybe a few premade grab and go plates for eager customers like me? The plate did taste great.
