Sucks they don’t have hot coffee! But I give it 5 stars for the experience. Three for the food cause of how flat the sandwich is for the price! Everyone was so nice but this is definitely more catered towards the upper class. Great place to buy big route 11 chips though! I’m already tearing the mama zumba’s up!

The food has always been good at Taste but yesterday I ordered something I didn't care for and the manager and cashier at the Norfolk store went out of their way to make sure I got something I did like. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am. Their positive attitudes and loving kindness meant so much to me, my husband, and son. I have always recommended Taste and will continue to do so! 💗

I have been eating at Taste (Hiltop and Norfolk Locations) for almost 2 decades. It is my absolute favorite sandwich/salad place. Service is super efficient, plus i love being able to order in advance! The food is consistently outstanding, always fresh and delicious. Have used them for catering as well! Recommend highly!!!.

I typically order from this location as well as the Harbourview one. Never had an issue and food is always fresh and tasty. However, today I ordered from the Ghent location and decided to use delivery since I wasn't able to pick up. They partner with Doordash (which not a huge fan) and received updates that order was picked up. Order was delivered however it was not my sandwich, it was seafood from Peter's Seafood in Portsmouth. The delivery driver (who didnt seem to with it by the way) came back to the house to retrieve the food item. When I asked him if he had my sandwich, he replied that he didnt. So I was not pleased. Pressed for time, I immediately called the restaurant and sure enough that person did pick up my food. I called Doordash....got someone who didnt speak very good english....wasted 45 minutes of my time. Awful customer service....and this is why I am not a fan. So long story....I ended calling the restaurant back and spoke with Ruth who was super nice and so helpful. She needs a raise for outstanding customer service. She called Doordash and was able to get the order cancelled and refunded. Thanks Ruth!

I had previously been to a TASTE in Chesapeake, probably about 7 years ago so when in the area and seeing this one I stopped in for lunch. I forgot just how amazing their menu is, not to mention the quality and freshness of their food! I tried their chicken pot pie soup and a curry chicken salad sandwich on their amazing, soft multigrain bread. But were OUTSTANDING!!! They have a large of selection to choose from when it comes to salads and sandwiches, as well as some regular soups and a daily special too. Many chips and other takeaway items in the store as well. I wish we had one of these in the Fredericksburg area, I’d be there all the time!
