Audrey’s

Crema's Take
“Audrey's is a lush, plant-filled sanctuary on Rice's campus where you can linger as long as you need with impeccable espresso drinks and genuinely creative signatures like the Birds of Paradise—a dreamy iced matcha latte with guava cream and almond milk. The staff moves with genuine warmth and speed, the pastries are worth planning your visit around, and the whole vibe feels intentionally curated rather than corporate, making it the kind of spot where regulars keep coming back twice a week.”

We tried their iced latte and birds of paradise which was like an iced matcha latte with Guava cream and almond milk. Sooooo good!
Solid cafe with espresso drinks and a small selection of treats. Cold soda fridge was mostly empty but had a few items. Great atmosphere and the plants and soft seating make it feel much less sterile than the concrete floor first implied. Note that this is located on campus inside the business school, now where Google often places the GPS dot at the college entrance.
Best coffee on the Rice campus by far. And very pleasant staff and ambience. A warning: Google maps puts it in the wrong location. It's inside the Jones School of Business not off campus at the corner of Rice Boulevard and Kent. Great people, great coffee.
Best coffee shop on Rice’s campus! Great service, fantastic drinks, and gorgeous plants and seating setup. I love their Birds of Paradise drink, the pastries, and the retail beans available up front.
I probably grab coffee here twice a week, and everything is delicious. It’s comparably priced to any nice coffee shop in the city. The service is always kind and fast. The music is perfect for getting work done and there is ample seating and plenty of plugs. The birds of paradise (matcha/guava cream/ almond milk) is delicious and my go to. But I love as well the turmeric chai latte, Texas cinnamon honey latte and matcha latte. When I don’t feel like making tea myself, I love to pop in for the jasmine pearl tea with guava syrup added. It’s such a delight. Hot or iced you can’t go wrong. As well, the croissants and pastries here are a dream and haven’t gotten me through countless classes and events where I forgot to eat before. Light, flaky, perfectly balance and buttery. Just make sure you get them warmed up and napkins. You’ll thank me later for that tidbit. It’s also visually appealing and can be great for a coffee chat or catch up with friends or a colleague.
