In Coffee We Trust

I loved finding this little gem in the middle of Hallandale I had the best dirty matcha latte. Super clean and the people so nice. And I was able to make some business calls while taking a few minutes to myself.

I really enjoyed my coffee this morning. The name "In Coffee We Trust" cracks me up. It's a cute little cafe in the lobby of an office building. It's very fitting, on theme, decorated for the holidays, the coffee tastes good, it's not wildly pricey, AND it's not ANOTHER Starbucks. It was my first time working in this building and I got here so early that I needed a cup of iced coffee. Salvador was so kind and sweet he put his heart into making my iced Carmel latte with almond milk. For paying a total of $6.21 I would say it's solid.

I’ve given this restaurant several chances, but this is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The staff are consistently unprofessional and inattentive. Every time I’ve visited, they seem more focused on chatting with each other—often in their own language—than on helping customers. It’s frustrating to be ignored while they socialize or give their full attention only to customers who share their language or background. Maybe if the staff focused on assisting each customer individually, instead of prioritizing friendships or mingling with those from their own culture, the service would be much better. Communication barriers or misunderstandings are exactly why each customer deserves individual attention and care. Today’s experience was the final straw. I ordered a turkey sandwich and clearly pointed to the one I wanted, but the staff were too distracted to notice. They made the wrong one, and when I tried to correct them, I was told, “It’s already made,” instead of being offered a solution. That’s unacceptable. I’ve never been to a place that handles customers with such disregard. I definitely will not be supporting this business again. The food at this place isn’t even fresh. Everything is premade, which makes it even worse for the staff to act the way they do. There’s absolutely no reason for such poor attitudes or unprofessional behavior when the food quality doesn’t even match the way they carry themselves. It’s really disappointing and unacceptable Definitely would not recommend this place.

I wholeheartedly recommend them for high-end events, and we will certainly partner with them again in the future.

Looking for a modern artsy coffee shop in Hollywood area, this is it! The atmosphere and service was great. Even better the matcha latte, beef empanada, Nutella croissant and spinach pastry was delicious! The pastries were fresh and served perfectly toasted. Will be back next time in town!
