Crema's Take

Franko & Coffee is a Ukrainian-inflected specialty coffee haven where the espresso drinks are executed with real precision and the pastries—from apple Danish to poppy seed rugelach—rival the coffee itself. Beyond the excellent flat whites and seasonal lattes, you'll find yourself charmed by the cultural warmth of the space, browsing curated gifts and art from Ukraine while settling in with your avocado toast or Ukrainian crepes. It's the kind of place where regulars become devoted fans, drawn back by consistently exceptional drinks, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that feels both cozy and full of character.

Any coffee you pick is sure to be delicious when made here. I had one of the specialty spring lattes and drank it down to the last drop. It's a beautiful Ukrainian cafe with so much culture, a great spot for anyone passing through!

This is my favourite place! Try their toasts if you hungry, and Ukrainian crepes for dessert. Coffee is great too They also have unique gifts, art and souvenirs for sale from Ukraine and from local Ukrainian artists.

Love the vibes of this charming coffee stop with great energy and consistently excellent drinks. The flat white is delicious—smooth, rich, and perfectly made. They’re especially known for their croissants, which are always fresh and irresistible. It’s my go-to spot before catching the ferry, conveniently located just across the street. A perfect blend of great coffee, baked goods, and atmosphere.

Just had probably the best Apple Danish of my life — insanely good. Perfect balance of sweetness and real apple flavor. I also tried a poppy seed rugelach for the first time, and honestly, the sweetness was spot-on and super satisfying. The cortado was great too — smooth, nice foam, perfect portion. Overall, amazing spot. Highly recommend grabbing a coffee and a pastry here.

Such a charming and cozy coffee shop! The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The avocado toast was delicious, and the goat cheese with strawberry toast was just as wonderful. We both tried the bourbon lattes, and they were fantastic. They also offer dairy-free options, which is a big plus. Definitely a spot I’d love to return to!
