Crema's Take

Tucked into a beautifully preserved historic officers' quarters on Mare Island, The Quarters feels less like a coffee shop and more like stepping into a carefully curated moment—complete with a towering magnolia tree welcoming you to the expansive porch. Their espresso-focused drinks are crafted with intention (reviewers rave about their perfectly pulled café au laits), and the serene Colonial atmosphere makes it equally suited for a focused work session or a meaningful conversation with a friend. This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger.

This place is a hidden gem! Its a great place to meet for coffee in the most beautiful Colonial house! The atmosphere is amazing and would be a great place to work or complete school assignments. I ordered a Caramel Machiato (hot) with oatmilk and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've had! The brie and ham croissant was delicious, but would be better if warmed or at least given the option. 4/5. It would be 5/5 if there was an option to warm baked goods.

Serenity would be another great name for this beautiful Historical organic coffee house. A towering magnolia tree lines the walkway to the expansive porch. I had a perfect Cafe a late and was enchanted with the three rooms with super comfortable seating. There are several seating areas outside with at least two dozen Adirondack chairs and 1/2 acre beautiful grass grounds.

Local coffee shop located in Mare Island in Vallejo. An old military house transformed into a coffee shop. With lots of seating, both inside, outside, and out back. Nice vibes and sometimes a place for people to study, work, or catch up. There’s plenty of parking close by. They have fresh pastries and food from Provisions. They also sell drinks, yogurt, ice cream, other treats. They have some historic mare island pictures up and it’s a nice vibe and aesthetic perfect for the whole family.

Went here a couple of times, coffee shop is located inside a beautiful historic building. I got a matcha latte and it was overly sweet for my taste and the pastries were definitely not made same-day, but it's one of the only coffee shops in the area — would still suggest a visit for the vibes, and maybe try their specialty coffee drinks!! Located super close to Touro University, good for studying or getting work done.
