Crema's Take

This espresso-focused San Rafael gem has earned serious loyalty for its exceptionally crafted traditional and creative specialty drinks, with reviewers raving about everything from silky cappuccinos to house-made chais customized to your taste. The baked goods here are genuinely stellar—think scones and oversized muffins that rival the coffee itself—making it the kind of place where locals linger and travelers happily detour off their route. It's got that perfect coffeehouse warmth: friendly staff, excellent ingredients, and the kind of quality that keeps people coming back after years away.

Hadn't been here for a few years. Coffee got even better and baked goods are still at delicious. Scones are surprisingly excellent. Love that my entire cappuccino looked like something of a tree stub or mushroom. 😁❤️😂 There's definitely more seating than there was in the past. Both indoor and outdoor on a shaded patio. I miss the more extensive offering of vintage goods they used to sell they do still offer some food items and a few gift items for sale.

Perfect place to stop on a long ride. The cold brew with snow storm is awesome. Basically a cold Irish Coffee without the Irish part. Delicious baked goods and friendly staff too.

Great place, and super friendly! We stopped for an espresso and a chai, would highly recommend both. The chai can be made to your preference - sweet, spicy, or balanced. All house made. The pasties look amazing, we will definitely be back to try those!

Nice coffeehouse with a local touch. Only six minutes from camp Taylor and Samuel P Taylor campsites, it make a good coffee here and have some bakery items as well. You can also buy milk and a few other things but definitely stop by for the coffee if you’re nearby!

Mocha with Coconut milk was decadent and possibly the best ever! Strawberry muffin was huge. Ate it over two meals. I think it was made with coconut sugar as it wasn't too sweet even with sugar coating the top. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Coracao salted caramel bar (dark chocolate, cashew butter filling, salt on the bottom) was amazing! Somehow I was able to resist eating both pieces in one sitting. Lots of cool merchandise inside. Nice curb appeal.
