Crema's Take
“For Five Coffee Roasters is a no-fuss DC spot where the espresso-focused coffee actually delivers—rich, smooth, and clearly worth the morning line that often forms. Whether you're grabbing a quick pastry or settling in with your laptop for a few hours, the cozy and modern atmosphere welcomes both, and their breakfast options and Greek yogurt parfaits give you reason to linger beyond just the exceptional cup.”

Walked in during morning hours. Line was long and there was a rush of people coming in for their take out orders. They have online ordering which makes it nice. Plenty of breakfast options. Pastries are excellent. Cheese hand pie had delicate, crispy pastry. Coffee options are great.
No thrills coffee and pastries place in DC, coffee was nice and hot tasted good. I also had a Greek yogurt parfait with honey and berries and granola which was tasteful and satisfying nothing over the top wow for me but tasted good. The to go lid didn’t fit properly on my coffee so when walking the lid kept falling off and spilling coffee on my hands. Just be careful with the lids.
I had a nice experience at For Five Café. The coffee was delicious, rich, smooth, and clearly high quality. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. It is good spot to relax and get some work done, or just enjoy a quiet moment. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee in a nice setting.
I did not have the breakfast options but they look phenomenal. I enjoy the coffee!!!! The stuffed cookie was alright. In my opinion the outer texture is a bit too crispy. The almond croissant was only ok. It lacked the buttery flakiness and lightness that I’m accustomed to having when enjoying croissants. The ambiance is nice and I love the variety of menu options. It fits the downtown aesthetic and I think accommodates the frequent conventions quite nicely.
Wow, this is by far one of the best cafés I’ve ever visited! The atmosphere is cozy and modern, making it a perfect spot to relax or get work done. Their coffee is rich, smooth, and honestly better than Starbucks—by a long shot. I had a latte with beautiful art on top and a buttery croissant that just melted in my mouth. The omelette with Mediterranean toppings was flavorful and fresh. Everything is crafted with quality and care. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good coffee and food in a peaceful, stylish setting.
