Mugshots Espresso

This is a drive-through–only café, but the experience was surprisingly warm and personal. The owner was incredibly kind, and the drink menu offered an impressive variety of options. Sitting in the passenger seat, it was difficult to read the menu, but the owner thoughtfully handed us a paper menu so we could take our time and look it over comfortably. That small gesture genuinely made my day. Those little details that make a place special. You can also tell they use high-quality coffee beans. Everything was well-crafted, and it truly shows in the taste.

First time visit and was not disappointed. My daughter had recently discovered Mugshots and had been talking about it for 2 weeks. I ordered a decaf Java Chip Frappe, a decaf Nutella Mocha Frappe, and a Hibiscus Cooler with Watermelon (per the barista's suggestion). All three were fabulous. My 11 year old loved his Nutella Mocha, the Java Chip was exactly what I was craving (and dove into immediately), and my non-coffee hubby enjoyed the Hibiscus Cioler as an alternative to iced tea. Pricing is comparable to Starbucks, but supporting a local business trumps a franchise for me any day.

With all of the amazing reviews, I had to try this spot out & it was INCREDIBLE!! I ordered the Java Chip Mocha blended & it was THE BEST blended coffee ever! So many dark chocolate chips blended with 4 espresso shots & ice - I'm in chocolate coffee crack heaven!! This just made my 2 week work stay soooo worth it! Thanks Mugshots! Keep being AMAZING!!! I'll be back again tomorrow! 🙌🏽

Me and my husband come here when we come to Reno, it’s one of my favorite coffee shops! I always get a chocolate mocha and my husband gets a banana smoothie. The lady who runs this shop is so kind and very accommodating. She will also give your dog a sweet potato 🍠 treat! Definitely come to mugshots coffee if you want a good coffee and good customer service!

I had to stop by here because of the name of the establishment. I thought it was a great name and I wanted to support the business because of that. It was kind of hard to figure out how to pull up at first so I reversed in (don't do that) and that lady who helped me was super cool. The entrance to actually off continental (I believe is the street name). I drew a directions on a picture, which I'll post. Anywho, the lady who was working there was chill, nice and cool with recommending drinks. I liked her personality and she seemed to have a genuine smile while helping us... and I take five-ever to make choices, so her good attitude was appreciated. I got a white pistachio mocha and my nephew got a caramel frappuccino. He liked his drink and I liked mine a lot more than the Starbucks version of a pistachio something or another. You can actually taste the pistachio flavor with this drink. So this place definitely deserves its 5 stars. I really wasn't sure what to expect, I just liked the name and I'm glad I stopped by.
