Purple Bean

Unfortunately I’m so sad how I didn’t enjoy my drink, I couldn’t even finish it. I got the banana dream & there literally was no taste of banana or the hazelnut & the espresso was definitely burnt as well. I do try to always hit up local spots before chain, but this seems to happen on a regular occurrence.

What an immense disappointment. Coffee tasted burnt and bitter. I got an iced latte and not even the syrup or milk could mask the bad coffee taste. I couldn't drink more than a few sips. I love supporting local coffee places everywhere I go. In fact, I had just gotten coffee at another place near Truckee as well that served an amazing iced latte. The one I got here was probably the worst coffee I've ever had. The muffin was good though.

Visiting from the bay area and its our first time here. I ordered a Banana Dream matcha latte, it was an option under their flavored lattes list. My husband ordered a sticky buns latte. Both were 10/10 and customer service also gets a 10/10

I recently stopped by Purple Bean and was genuinely impressed. The coffee is excellent rich, smooth, and full of flavor without being overly sweet or bitter. You can tell they put care into every drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and quick even during a busy time. This has definitely become one of my new favorite spots in Reno for quality coffee. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a well-crafted cup.

The purple been has been around for like 20 years. It’s a great spot says drive-through was very busy when we got there Stephanie, the barista gave us world-class service and her drinks are delicious. OK she prepared everything. It came out so good I had the Kona white mocha, Frappuccino style drink, and she had a Oatmilk Matcha frappe? Frappe? If you’re in Reno, I highly recommend that you come out and try it.
