came here for a quick salad for lunch, got the fiesta salad. (14$) paid with a card. when i was greeted with a tip screen, immediately i was told to “please sign” and as soon as i signed and hit accept i was charged a 20% tip! i didn’t even do anything besides sign my name! my total ended up being close to 18 bucks for a salad. i had cash for a tip initially. the salad was not great, and neither was the sneaky service. i will not be returning. pay CLOSE attention when checking out.
Arrived at 830 am to have a bowl and a matcha. Sydney was phenomenal! Very pleasant and personable, definitely an asset to Bare Blends. Music at right level. Place very clean. I had a kids bowl ( blue!) And a matcha. I only wish I lived closer, this would become my daily brekkies stop!
My delivery experience. I was excited to try this place for breakfast, but unfortunately my order didn’t come out as expected. I ordered the Immunity Ignite drink and paid extra for no ice and extra ginger. The drink arrived with a lot of ice and no extra ginger added. For the pesto egg sandwich I requested gluten-free bread and I added maple sweet potato for an additional charge, but that wasn’t included. On the spicy egg and cheese sandwich, I requested regular bread with extra spinach, but there wasn’t any spinach. Also, according to the website, gluten-free sandwiches are wrapped in foil, and both of my sandwiches came wrapped in foil, so I honestly can’t tell whether they were both gluten-free or both made with the regular bread type. That was confusing. Overall most of the add-ons or special requests I paid extra for weren’t followed. I understand mistakes can happen, but I hope the team can pay closer attention to order details in the future, especially when customers are paying for modifications. The food itself tasted good, but accuracy and clarity are just as important for a positive experience.
Love the vibe at Bare Blends! Their bowls are always amazing. Can’t wait to try their sandwiches once colder season comes around. I also appreciate that Kaye always hands me my order personally even when it’s super busy. It makes the experience feel more personal. Definitely be coming back again soon!
Bare blends is the best place to go a for a smoothie. It is such a cute little place by Hannaford and 5 guys on the right side. Personally their smoothies and prices are both better and cheaper than Bowled which is down the street. They still are over priced because one smoothie is around $9. But their portions are great size. You can personalize your smoothie and they have so many cool toppings. They’re known for their açaí bowls which is a fruit similar to a blueberry blended in a smoothie like consistency. They also have other food like oatmeal, juice, and salads/grains. We’ve also had great service ordering online and then picking it up.
