Stereo
900 DeKalb Ave NE, Atlanta, GA
Crema's Take
“Stereo is a rare Atlanta spot that seamlessly blends coffee shop by day and listening bar by night, making it an ideal late-night third place where you can nurse a creative specialty drink and vinyl records without the pretense. The vibe is genuinely chill and dog-friendly, with weekend events that draw Instagram-savvy crowds, and while the espresso leans toward the gentler side, the fair prices and excellent food keep people coming back for the full experience rather than just the coffee alone.”

So good. Stopped in on a whim. Excellent vibe delicious food great coffee. Dog friendly 😄
i go at night when it becomes a listening bar. an easy option for atlanta's attempt at late night third places. drinks are decent, usually not very strong. prices surprisingly fair. a nice place to feel blurry with some vinyl music,, this bar quietly encourages savouring rather than rushing. While the place is lovely enough for me to return, it is lightly held. I sometimes get a feeling of manufactured authenticity. as for my odd association: the experience here reminds me of the feeling/texture you get when you glide your thumb along the edge of a laptop to feel the contrast between the metal bezel and glass screen simultaneously.
Very cool place to hang out and chill. It was my first time here but I’ve seen their social media adds on Instagram and it looks like they hold events every weekend? I’m not sure, but the day I went there were selling vinyl records and playing live music! I hear during the evenings they open up their bar. So during the day, coffee. At night a bar with low lighting maybe?? Either way, super cool place to check out. I would def go again!!
This is definitely a hidden gem for a chill day out. Went to the crates and coffee and purchased some vinyls at great prices!! Overall vibes were so cool and is a cute little hang out spot :)
Saw this place on TikTok and had to come during the cocktail hours. On TikTok it seemed speakeasy vibes and moody which is what I wanted but with coming in, the music was a bit louder than I’d like, to the point I couldn’t hear my friends but when overlooking at the volume level this place is actually pretty nice. Love that the drinks were Asian esque. You cannot beat the price of drinks at all. Also if you’re here after 9pm, next door has pizza for $3! Also to note, you can’t sit on the couches unless you’re a big party, we were there for an hour and no one was sitting on it. Although the couch only seems to fit three people, it’d be nice to be able to sit on it.
