Love this place! Coffee Commissary consistently serves smooth, high-quality coffee, and the baristas are always welcoming. The space is modern and comfortable—great for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Always a reliable LA coffee spot.

The food here is pretty good but the service is abysmal. I've been here multiple times and it's always the same scene: one poor worker busting their butt while the two-three others converse amongst each other taking their dear sweet time with the orders. Last time I was there, the decaf dirty chai I ordered wasn't decaf so I asked it to be made correctly. The two girls argued with me that Chai has caffeine even after I (and their own co-worker) had already clarified that the espresso shot was to be decaf. Instead of apologizing or even a 'my bad' they just look disgusted before making it correctly and resuming their private conversation. Very unprofessional and I feel bad for the one guy who had to deal with them all day.

Commissary Coffee in Burbank is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a strong, bold cup of coffee to kickstart your day, seriously, their brews will wake you right up. But it’s not just about the caffeine; the vibe here is super chill and creative. It’s also a great place to park your laptop and get work done. The space has a modern, minimal look with plenty of natural light and good energy. Whether you’re rushing in for a quick pick-me-up or planning to stay awhile and work, this place totally delivers. Cool staff, good music, and great coffee.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I am an avid and dedicated coffee drinker. I truly believe having bad coffee is bad for the soul and secondly I don’t understand how some people hate or don’t drink coffee, finally always tip the people who make your coffee. This is a true skill that needs to be appreciated and respected. Anyway the Commissary is a no frills coffee shop in Burbank. The seating reminds me of a cafeteria functionality over appearance. Now the staff is very friendly and ordering was simple. I went with a black coffee. I am a simple man and enjoy the true taste of my Java. I loved the flavor and the strength of the coffee. I went with the Brisket burrito which was enjoyable. It came with chips and salsa. The burrito and salsa both had a great flavor. I just wish the salsa had some heat. My wife went with the protein plate. Her dish looked great but lacked in flavor, some finishing salt would have really helped. Thank you Commissary for the friendly service.

Great matcha latte! Perfect temperature and great texture. Cups have a cool design and you don’t need a sleeve. Sometimes this place can get pretty crowded, but the staff works fast. You can get some cool pictures with their art wall outside.
