Roots Coffee - Salt Lake City

Accidentally stumbled across this place while I was stopping in Salt Lake City and I ordered a white chocolate raspberry ice latte. It comes with these cute little chocolate covered espresso beans on top in the barista were so nice and the coffee was so good!!

Amazing women crafting/ serving fabulous coffee ☕️. So grateful for a beautiful space to share time and ideas. I love that they host the Women's Businesses Center's Sweets & Strategies. Great energy! Thank you Gina!

Cute little coffee shop. I only stayed at the counter to get my to-go order so I didn’t check if they have any seating area or how it looks but at the entrance, this place is clean and the stuff were friendly. I got a cold brew and I would say that they have good coffee. Personally, I like fruity and floral, more acidic coffee but the cold brew at this place is earthy and has very distinct cocoa note. If you like this kind of coffee, you will love this place. The fact that they can pull the flavor off their coffee (even though not my favorite—again personal preference) is already a proof that they know what they are doing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I flew in from Florida to visit my long distance boyfriend and we stayed in an Airbnb ind downtown salt lake. I found this coffee shop that was walking distance and it was so unique and the coffee and pastries were divine! There’s downstairs saying with a couch and stools facing out the window, a mirror to take selfies in. And an upstairs with all different kind of seating assortments, and a bathroom. They also had a patio on the second floor and the view was magical. The staff was always so nice and helpful, we when here everyday while I was here! I’m so glad I found it. I don’t want to say it’s better than my local coffee shop down here but .. honestly it was! And they had so many different options to choose from. Whether you want tea or coffee, this is the place to go! I got the Iced Caramelo every time, and they put lil coffee beans cover in chocolate on your coffee cup, they were so yummy and honestly such a smart idea! The last day I got the drink of the month which was like a pumpkin latte but it was so good! If you go sit down the baristas bring your drinks and pastries to you! They are very welcoming and caring! I love all the art around the coffee shop too, such a warm vibe, brings it to life, I loved this place and I’ll be visiting again in November! I got a shirt too and it’s so comfy and smells like coffee! (Bliss) Thank you for all your recommendations and just being so kind! Best coffee ever!

This coffee shop was such a nice surprise with a chill vibe 😎 with friendly staff 👋. They offer a solid selection of coffee ☕ and tea options, plus some tasty looking pastries 🥐 and breakfast items 🍳. The atmosphere inside is pretty relaxed, making it a nice spot to grab a drink and maybe get some work done 💻 (outdoor 2nd floor deck seating, 2nd floor indoor seating and restrooms, and a small bar and sofa on the first floor). The service was efficient and the baristas were helpful 👍. You should also grab a savory breakfast sandwich from the food truck outside (Grumpy Dough)...one of the best breakfasts I've had in months and an amazing owner. The shop appeared to have a ramp ♿ for easy access, which is a definite plus for anyone with mobility needs.
