Oddcha

Crema's Take
“Oddcha is a vibrant milk tea destination where creative house specialties like the Black Sugar and Twisted Taro drinks rival their impressively executed traditional offerings, earning particular praise for a Matcha Gold that's converted home matcha enthusiasts into devoted regulars. The welcoming staff and accessible storefront in south Reno make it an ideal gathering spot, whether you're stopping by for an Instagram-worthy unicorn cotton candy drink or a carefully crafted lavender-honey creation topped with honeycomb. It's the kind of place that keeps people coming back because they nail both the classics and the creative risks.”

Cafe latte and the unicorn cotton candy, 10/10. They are both really good, staff was really nice too!
It was my friend and I’s first time at Oddcha, and we had heard a lot of good things from others. We tried the Black Sugar and Twisted Taro drinks. The boba pearls were a bit hard probably freshly cooked since it was quite busy but the flavors were spot on. Both drinks had a great balance, not too sweet, just the right mix. The space itself is very small, connected to a Thai restaurant in the front, so it can feel cramped, especially when it gets crowded. Despite that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They even let us know to shake the drinks to get the best flavor experience. We definitely plan to come back. I’d just recommend they consider expanding to a second location since it’s clearly a popular spot. Pricing was reasonable too around $7–$8, which is better than many boba shops charging $9+ nowadays.
Burgeoning matcha connoisseur who makes matcha at home 98% of the time finally finds matcha worth drinking outside of the home. Oddcha’s Matcha Gold is incredible. Seriously. I don’t even make matcha lattes at home - I just whisk matcha straight up. That’s what I love. So mega props to this shop for making high quality, fresh tasting matcha drinks. I’m a fan! See you all at the San Rafael location!
A must stop for me in Reno! The milk tea bar is in the same building as the Thai Lotus. The milk bar is located in front of the restaurant. It is easily accessible. The staff is always so nice! They also give great recommendations. The drinks are always amazing! I usually get the Crème Brûlée Boba. It's delicious. Every drink I have tried here is tasty though. I highly recommend Oddcha!
A friend told me about a new place for milk tea in south Reno so I had to try; for my first drink I tried the dragonfruit honey lavender milk tea topped with honeycomb, and it was yummy! I would go back to try the other interesting flavors they have! You can order online, but going there in person there was no wait on a weekday night. Four stars for atmosphere because it's sharing space in the restaurant and you can't really hangout in there.
