Oasis Cafe
8900 N Kendall Dr, Miami, FL
Crema's Take
“Oasis Cafe is a casual zoo-side spot in Miami where families can grab a quick bite without leaving the grounds, with outdoor seating and a generally welcoming atmosphere that sets reasonable expectations for theme park dining. While food quality is genuinely hit-or-miss—some visitors praise fresh, hot meals while others find the offerings underwhelming—it's the convenient location and family-friendly vibe that keeps people coming back between zoo adventures. Fair warning: go in with modest expectations for the food itself, and you're more likely to leave satisfied.”

food was decent for zoo food but unfortunately I got violent food poisoning by next morning.
I’m so over people trash-talking zoo food. What are you expecting?? Gordon Ramsay back there flipping your burger? It’s a zoo, not a five-star resort. Honestly, the food’s pretty decent and exactly what you’d expect. Yeah, it’s overpriced, but so is literally anything at a theme park or concert. And honestly, the food hits the spot when you’ve been walking around all day. If you can drop $15 on a beer at a game, you can handle a slightly pricey burger here. At least your money’s helping take care of the animals. You’re feeding yourself and supporting a good cause; that’s a win-win in my book. 🦁
The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The food sucked. The pizza is only cheese and bread, no sauce. The hamburger has too much lettuce. This is not worth what I paid for it. Next time, I'll eat before coming to the zoo. I'm extremely disappointed.
My husband and I were very impressed with our food here! Eating at a zoo, you come in with low expectations but our food was really good! It came out hot and tasted fresh. Also happy to see a few adult beverage choices!
I took my niece to Zoo Miami (Metro Zoo) and after playing in the splash pad for an hour we decided to have lunch. The closest eatery is the Oasis Grill. The food is your typical theme park basics like chicken, pizza and burgers but it did not disappoint. I ordered her a cheese pizza and myself a cheeseburger and fries. The food was actually really good the burger was very simple but delicious. My niece ate all her pizza which is impressive because she is a picky eater. Also the staff was very nice and accommodating.
