Maleko Coffee And Pastries

Crema's Take

This espresso-focused spot in Honolulu has earned serious credibility with coffee lovers from the Pacific Northwest, who rarely find quality brews outside their home region—but Maleko's lattes and signature macadamia nut coffee hit the mark. Beyond the exceptional coffee, their pastries and donuts are genuinely exceptional, with a low-key baker-owner who turns out world-class baked goods that aren't overly sweet, making it the perfect early-morning stop for a full breakfast or quick grab before your day.

Great coffee! Great muffins and pastries! We are from the Pacific Northwest and love good coffee. We are always skeptical about buying coffee from someplace we dont know. (We are usually disappointed) This place was not a disappointment. The atmosphere was a little rough around the edges, but the coffee and the bakery items were amazing. Dont go if you're looking for cute baristas, but if you just want Great coffee and dont mind a crusty old guy at the counter, then this place is a must!

What a great place to have a quick breakfast! The coffee is definitely one of the best lattes I have had here on the island. I got the macadamian nut coffee-highly recommend. We also got the ham, egg and cheese croissant which was delicious. Great service too! Definitely will come back.

I ordered a Spinach-Kale Cheese croissant and a Pineapple coconut Muffin. Both were good. The muffin especially good as it wasn't too sweet.

So good coffee and nice pastries ,to eat for breakfast in your room you can buy take with them . They open early so that’s very good . Had coffee and it was very good and the cheese ham pastry was nice too.

Donuts are unreal - better than Leonards in my opinion. The baker/owner is super low key about it, but hes world class. I was stoked to happen across one morning early in my trip, and my girlfriend and I have gone several times since. He only makes three flavours- guava, blueberry and custard- but I assure you it is worth it.
