Crema's Take

Ozo Coffee is a beloved Boulder institution where baristas treat espresso like an art form and seasonal creations like the ginger molasses latte become reasons to visit twice in one day. The real magic happens in their pour over program—pick from four rotating single origins, smell the beans first, and settle into the calm, spacious room while your coffee is crafted with intention. Whether you're bringing your dog for a pup cup, meeting a friend, or grabbing a banana nut coffee cake before work, the consistently warm staff and thoughtfully made drinks keep people coming back for years.

This has been my favorite coffee shop for years. The latte's are consistently made with love, the matcha is true ceremonial tea and the best part - the staff! The baristas are always lovely, welcoming people who care about their community and make the visit more enjoyable!

Great coffee. Stopped for a quick visit and ended up here twice. Everyone in my group liked what they ordered. The seasonal ginger molasses latte is that good! And you can even ask for it less sweet. Would recommend.

A busy little cafe on Pearl Street. The coffee was excellent, albeit we felt the cup sizes were smaller than in other cafés. We enjoyed the coffee cakes (the banana nut flavor was our favorite) and there was a diaper changing station available in the restroom for our baby, which was extremely helpful. It was a little hard to find tables for the four of us, but we were able to make do.

Ozo is a calm haven of specialty coffee and spacious seating. Like pourovers? This is the spot: there’s a selection of 4+ options, and they’ll let you smell the beans to get a sample for your senses. The flavors themselves were unique, and single-origin sourced from all over. My Colombian Ombligan pourover tasted like toasted cranberries melded into a mellow cup of Joe. Lovely aesthetic served in ceramic. The space is clean and minimalist with a small splash of wall artwork and plants. Additional amenities: local artist crafts, small back patio, and self-service water. Great playlist too. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Topher! Coffee score: 4.5/5. Everything else score: 4.5/5. Overall score: 4.5/5.

Ozo coffee is my favorite coffee and I always make it a point to stop here when I'm in Colorado. The honey lavender latte is a favorite of mine. My dog also enjoys the pup cups & the staff is always friendly.
