Lucky Goat Coffeehouse

888 N 26th St, Philadelphia, PA

Crema's Take

Lucky Goat strikes that perfect balance between a serious coffee destination and a genuine neighborhood hangout, where you're just as likely to linger over a carefully crafted redeye as you are to discover a showstopping strawberry matcha that'll have you coming back twice. The kitchen matches the coffee program's ambition with fresh, generously portioned sandwiches—think perfectly ripe avocado on a turkey club and surprisingly inventive flavor pairings—all at prices that feel genuinely fair for the quality. It's the kind of relaxed, spotlessly clean space where you can actually settle in, whether you're meeting a friend or just soaking in the good vibes with a book.

The strawberry matcha was a favorite that I went back twice! I would recommend this place!

Update: they no longer have regular bacon but candied bacon is not for everyone. If regular bacon was available I’d be here every day. Without it, the sandwich is overpriced and definitely not fantastic. — The breakfast sandwich is fantastic! A perfect addition to the neighborhood. The ciabatta is fresh and warm, the cooper sharp adds great flavor. I subbed regular bacon for the optional candied bacon and I couldn’t be happier with my breakfast. Thanks

Nice little coffee shop, relaxing atmosphere, and very clean. I had the redeye and my wife had an iced coffee, very good and fresh coffee. The breakfast sandwich was also really good with very fluffy eggs. Would highly recommend!

Really yummy sandwiches and drinks!! Surprisingly good prices too. This’ll be a nice addition to the neighborhood for sure. We got the turkey club and the caprese. The avocado on the club was so fresh it really a refreshing sandwich. We sat in the back where the larger tables are,

I feel very fortunate that this is the closest coffee shop to my house. I love the vibes of this place and, although they are closed for Covid, they have some nice outdoor seating and are still serving the same delicious coffee. I typically just get a black coffee (which is really good - better than Brown St nearby) but they also have a large menu of hot and cold coffee drinks. They also have a small case of various baked good, including amazing tarts and some other items. This is a great place to stop for breakfast or a quick afternoon meetup. Definitely check this place out if you have not yet. I assume they will get more busy when the new retail/residential building opens across the street. I just hope they can open up their indoor seating soon.
