Coby’s Cafe
101 Nickerson St, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Seattle, this dog-friendly café has mastered the art of creative seasonal drinks like their beloved hojicha strawberry latte, where baristas genuinely enjoy helping you navigate their thoughtful menu. Beyond the reliably excellent coffee and specialty matcha offerings, what truly sets this place apart is its heart—it was founded so the owner's dog wouldn't be lonely, and that welcoming spirit extends to every furry (and human) visitor who walks through the door, making it as much a community gathering spot as it is a destination for carefully crafted drinks.”

Delicious latte! A bit pricey, but totally worth it. The flavor was rich, and the texture perfect, just what I expect from a great latte. The barista was nice and welcoming. I came for the coffee, but watching dogs play was a fun bonus.
Super delicious hojicha strawberry latte 🫶 the staff very friendly and offered great suggestions for the drink menu (I was debating btw matcha strawberry vs Hojicha strawberry). There are upcoming events allowing owners and dogs to attend together which is so rare to find! Highly recommend for anyone either to stop by for a beverage (they have a separate human only entrance for ordering) or hang out with pups while having delicious teatime/brunch!
I want to express my gratitude for our visit today. My Maltese recently was diagnosed with back issues which has impacted her walking with stumbling. She has been to Cobys multiple times however I was nervous to bring her in this time because i know there are range of personalities with fur friends. A staff member (i didn't get her name) understood my concern and was gracious to watch Mochi in her arms whilst i used the restroom. There were a few furbabies in the cafe during our visit and each of them came to say hi to her and they sensed something was off or they sensed that i was nervous. Each of them were gentle with her and then off they went to play with others. They kept coming over and gently said hello. I was very impressed! The pet parents were aware because i was holding Mochi and they were all keeping an eye out for their furbaby. I said thank you to everyone and their furbabies :) 🥲 She is the one in the pink harness in the photo attached. I appreciate the safe space for her
This café was created so that the owner’s dog wouldn’t have to spend time alone. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was full of friendly dogs! You can interact and play with them, and if you buy some treats, the dogs will come to you even more. What I love about this café is that there’s no time limit, and if you don’t have a dog, you only need to pay for your drink to enjoy the place. The only resident dog is Coby, the owner’s dog, and it’s fun to meet different visiting dogs each time you come.
I absolutely love Coby’s Cafe! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been bringing my daughter’s dog Adonis here for a few months. He has a membership (which is extremely reasonably priced) so we come often. Adonis is very shy, but he’s really come out of his shell. The doggies here are very sweet and playful. Also, I just love the owner, Mary. She has done a fantastic job with her business and she is wonderful and welcoming to everyone. The cafe is very pretty and clean and full of natural sunlight. I’ve met some really nice people here. The dog owners are so friendly. Finally, the food and drinks are top notch. There are menu items for people and pups. I highly recommend Coby’s Cafe.
