Crema's Take

Tucked away in Bloomfield, this genuine mom-and-pop cafe feels like a warm throwback to classic Jersey diners, where the staff treats you like family the moment you walk in. Their breakfast is the real draw—think cinnamon French toast that ranks among the best you'll ever taste, made without pretension or gimmicks, just honest, exceptional food that keeps locals coming back.

After my awful experience with Navada Diner I walked a few blocks and found this fantastic mom & pop Cafe and it was nostalgic warm and friendly, reminded me of growing up in Hoboken. The breakfast was awesome prices reasonable and staff very friendly. Would recommend it to everyone.

The food here was amazing. Cinnamon French toast, top three I've ever had in my life. A MUST have. The atmosphere was small and nothing special, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Also, helps when you know the owner!! Shout out to my man Rami!!! Great spot

Chalet is a true Jersey gem. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel completely at home — warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The breakfast is outstanding. No gimmicks, no viral trends — just simple, delicious classics done perfectly. And the cinnamon roll French toast? Absolutely next level. Sweet, soft, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable. Places like this are rare. It’s not about hype — it’s about consistently amazing food and that comforting, hometown feel that keeps you coming back. 💛

This was supposed to be a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Cream cheese was cold, solid, didnt even bother to spread the cream cheese, this is unacceptable. Doesn't even look like they TRIED to spread it. Who would eat this?

Horrible service. On the first day trying food here I met the owner Romy. The food had hair from his fore arms. It was his as he cooked it and I saw it fall into my food as he served my table. He would not take it back. He threatened me as theft if me and my husband walked out. We are seniors and the other elder eaters there looked at shock at how he was yelling and abusive to seniors.
